I grew up with animals from birth. We had cats, dogs, ducks and even a sheep! Later, when I left home, I owned two gorgeous house rabbits and now I have two dogs - a Whippet and a Lurcher who I adore. I trained both of my dogs from puppies and have a lot of experience with this. I also have experience with senior dogs since I helped care for my Mum's dogs in the last months of their lives. My Lurcher is reactive on walks so I have years of experience. I know the signs if she is feeling uncomfortable. If you have a reactive dog, I know how worrying it can be to let a stranger look after them. I will go out of my way to ensure you and your dog feel at ease. If you have certain requirements such as walks in quiet areas, or walking on lead only, I will listen and do what you feel is best for your dog. I am always willing to walk my dogs separately to yours if your dog prefers to go solo and I won't walk my dogs with any breeds my Lurcher is reactive to. If your furry friend loves to walk in a gang, we can meet up first and see how they get on! My Lurcher adores smaller breeds, like spaniels, cockapoos etc or overtly happy hounds. I believe in treating all animals with empathy, sensitivity and kindness. They deserve nothing less! I have looked after pets for friends, including drop-ins for cats and hamsters, walking dogs and looking after dogs overnight.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure back garden with a high fence to keep your furry one safe. I will always supervise when your dog is in the garden. Our house is open plan downstairs with lots of space for a crate if required.

Cassia has been absolutely brilliant with my very reluctant dog who's funny going out with new people. Cassia got her to walk after only a few goes using patience, determination and experience and understanding of dogs. Cassia takes her out twice a week. I feel very confident with her with my dog and Cassia has been very reliable and provides photos and texts with every walk. I'd highly recommend her.
Amy has had a great first few walks with Cassia. We had an initial pre-walk meeting and Cassia was lovely, a genuine animal lover who understands the foibles of dogs with personality! Communication has been easy and speedy and I've had some detailed post walk reports and photos. Will definitely be booking again!

Schedule
I am self-employed, working from home. My time is flexible which allows me to work around your needs. I can look after your furry one on weekdays and weekends. I have two dogs so if you have a dog who needs a solo walk for any reason, I am able to walk mine separately. There are certain breeds I can't bring into my home, such as Huskies and German Shepherds due to my reactive Lurcher but I can walk these breeds separately.
