Pet care experience
Let me give your pups some loving<3
Hi there, I'm Cassandra. I have an extensive background in working with animals. I began working with animals doing volunteer work when I was 14 and then proceeded to go to school for Zoology and Vet Assist. I was working full time as a bather at the time. After receiving my certificate for Zoology, I began work as a vet assistant at in all inclusive Pet Center that offered daycare, rehabilitation, doctor visits, boarding and training. While working at the center I was employed at Chewy where I had the pleasure of gaining a lot of knowledge about nutrition for our pets as well as tips and tricks. I'm a huge animal lover, I'm the one at the party cuddling with your dog. If you have any questions, please ask.

Ratings and reviews
Cannot recommend Cassandra & Tyler enough! They have done two in-house sits for me, and they took such incredible care of my dogs both time. Excellent communication, really thoughtful support for a couple of issues that came up and coming back to two very happy boys. These were both longer sits (14 days and 7 days) and the level of communication, professionalism and just care for the boys never dwindled, and that meant the world for me actually getting to enjoy my time away from them. Highly recommend these two if you are in need of help with your furbabies!

Cassandra and Tyler did a great job dog sitting. They spent so much time with our pups and were great with communication and asking questions if needed. We had peace of mind our whole trip and will likely use them again!

Cassandra took great care of Luke. She watched him in our home. She was present and attentive, great about sending pictures a couple times a day along with updates on how he was doing. I would definitely book with her again.

Pets
A typical day
For Dogs: Adventure Walks: Explore new parks, trails, or even just different routes in the neighborhood. A change of scenery is always exciting! Fetch or Frisbee: Classic games for a reason! Great for burning energy and bonding. Agility Fun (DIY Style): Set up a mini obstacle course in the backyard with things like tunnels made of blankets, weave poles using cones or sticks, and low jumps (be mindful of their size and ability). Puzzle Toys and Treat Hunts: Keep their minds engaged by using puzzle feeders or hiding treats around the house or yard for them to sniff out. Bubbles! Many dogs love chasing and trying to catch bubbles. Use pet-safe bubble solution. Water Play (if they enjoy it): Sprinklers on a hot day or a dip in a shallow kiddie pool can be a blast. Cuddle and Relaxation Time: After all the excitement, some quiet time for petting, brushing, and just being together is always appreciated. Training Games: Practice basic commands or teach them a new trick using positive reinforcement. Short, fun sessions are key. For Cats: Interactive Play with Wands and Lasers (use laser pointers responsibly): Engage their hunting instincts with toys that move and flutter. Always end laser pointer play with a physical toy they can "catch." Hide-and-Seek (you be the seeker!): Cats love to hide, so make it a game by calling their name and rewarding them with a treat or praise when they appear. Cardboard Box Adventures: A simple cardboard box can provide hours of entertainment as a hiding spot, a tunnel, or a scratching surface. Window Watching: Provide them with a comfortable perch where they can observe the outside world. Puzzle Feeders: Keep them mentally stimulated and slow down eating with puzzle toys designed for cats. Gentle Grooming Sessions: Many cats enjoy being brushed, which can be a relaxing bonding experience. Interactive Toys: Battery-operated toys or ones that move erratically can keep them entertained when you're busy. "Fishing" for Treats: Tie a treat to a string and drag it around for them to chase. For Other Pets (adjust as needed based on the species): Guinea Pigs/Rabbits: Set up tunnels and hideaways in their enclosure. Offer fresh veggies and herbs in interesting ways (e.g., hanging them). Supervised time in a safe, enclosed area for exploration. Birds: Provide new toys, rotate their existing toys, and engage in gentle vocal interaction. Some birds enjoy listening to music or watching videos with you. Small Animals (Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice): Offer new and interesting bedding materials, tunnels, and climbing structures in their cages. Supervised time in a playpen with safe toys.
