Hi, I’m Cassandra, you can call me Cass if you like. I grew up in the farmlands of western Massachusetts, where animals were everywhere, so I’ve been surrounded by them my whole life. Most pets feel instantly comfortable with me, and I’ve even successfully tamed feral kittens for rehoming on several occasions. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even a chicken or two, and I work part-time at a dog sanctuary fostering small dogs from Mexico to loving homes in the Bay Area. I’m patient, attentive, and adaptable, able to meet each pet’s unique needs—whether it’s a senior dog requiring extra care, a shy cat needing gentle reassurance, or a playful pup ready for walks and cuddles. I treat every pet as if they were my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes. I live in a small 500-square-foot cottage with my two cats, and my adult daughter comes home from grad school occasionally, so caring for pets in my own home isn’t feasible. Focusing on in-home care allows me to give each pet personalized attention in their familiar environment, keeping them safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their families are away

Cassandra watched my one year old cavapoo, Rosie, for a long weekend while we were traveling. She was very professional at our meet and greet and she read over the care instructions for Rosie carefully. She stayed in touch throughout the weekend with photos and updates. I felt like I was able to really relax and enjoy my time away because Rosie was getting lots of love, playtime, and walks. She also took great care of the house, kept everything super clean, and helped us out with bringing in mail and bringing trash cans to the curb. I'm looking forward to hiring her again!
Cassandra did such a great job dropping in on my puppy, Rosie. She fed her dinner, played with her, and made sure she had a chance to potty. Her communication and photos were great. I will definitely hire her again!

Cassandra was so great!! She was so kind with Walter, and sent me photos of how it went with him. It was also so easy to coordinate with her over text on how to get into my apartment (with a code) and on how to administer Walter's medication (oral and pill). I can't recommend more!!
Thank you Cassandra! Very professional and she got Kate’s confidence very easily. She is not a shy cat but she needs to warm up to strangers, and during the 30mn visits, she provided our cat the care she needed, mostly pets 🥰 and Kate loved her (our last sitter had one visit without seeing Kate, who stayed hidden…) We were able to leave for the weekend without being worried :) I recommend her warmly!

Schedule
I’m a creative consultant helping mission-driven individuals and nonprofits reach their goals and make maximum impact. I work mostly from home, which allows me plenty of flexibility to accommodate dog walking times, feedings, and cuddle sessions. On the days I have in-person meetings, they typically last 1–3 hours, so I can easily plan around them to ensure pets get the attention and care they need throughout the day.

- Let me know if your dog has any quirks or issues I’d need to watch out for. No dogs who tend to bite as that gives me anxiety and I’m not at my best in those situations.
