I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for just about every kind you can imagine. I grew up with dogs and cats and my family lives on a farm, so being around animals of all sizes and personalities has always been a normal part of my life. I’ve raised both puppies and kittens and have experience with many different dog breeds, including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Basset Hounds, Dachshunds, and more. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality. I also have experience caring for pets at every stage of life, from young puppies to seniors. My Basset Hound is now 14 and I’ve cared for him since he was eight weeks old, and I’ve also had cats well into their senior years. I’m comfortable administering medications and giving older pets the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. In high school, I also volunteered at my local police station, where I helped care for the K9s during their off time. I currently have a cat of my own who I’ve raised since he was six weeks old, and he is truly my pride and joy. I’m definitely the person who gets excited when there’s a pet anywhere nearby, so spending time with yours would be just as fun for me as it is helpful for you.

Safety, trust & environment
I always try to keep pets as comfortable and close to their normal routine as possible. In a client’s home, I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any house rules carefully so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I also make sure doors, gates, leashes, and anything else related to their safety are checked before and after each visit. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your baby in someone else’s hands. I want you to feel confident that your pet is being cared for by someone who is attentive, patient, and genuinely excited to spend time with them. I’m always happy to send updates and photos, and I want owners to feel comfortable reaching out with any special instructions or concerns. Most importantly, I give each pet the kind of attention they’re comfortable with, whether that means lots of playtime and cuddles or simply giving a shy or anxious pet the space and patience they need.

Schedule
I’m currently a master’s student and work part-time, so my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time caring for pets throughout the week. I’m especially available for dog walks, daily drop-ins for feeding and potty breaks, and visits just to give your pet some extra attention and company while you’re away. I know some pets can get anxious, lonely, or just plain bored when their people aren’t home, so I’m always happy to spend a little extra time playing, cuddling, or simply hanging out with them so they feel comfortable and cared for. When needed, I’m also open to overnight stays. I just prefer to meet you and your pets first so everyone can get comfortable and make sure it feels like a good fit before spending the night.

The more you tell me about their personality and needs, the better I can make their time with me feel as normal and stress-free as possible.
