Hey Everyone, My husband and I have two of our own pups and have fostered 60+ dogs (as of March, 2025) through a rescue organization. We have had everything from 8 week old abandoned puppies to a 12 year old half blind, half deaf, no teeth, grumpy old man pup! We love them all and welcome them all as long as they're safe to have around our two dogs, our 7 year old and our 5 year old sons of course! Please do not request for your dog to stay here if they jump up a lot or have a history of pushing children over. Our kiddos safety is our number 1 concern at all times. We would say our home/family/lifestyle is most suited for medium to low energy dogs. We live in Maple Ridge, in an older spacious home. Our place has a decent sized backyard where pups can bound around happily. Our dogs are our everything and if you need somewhere safe, loving, comforting and happy for your dog to stay while you're away that's us. Our experience lends us to understand most dog behaviours. We let our pups sleep on our bed but your dog will be welcome to wherever they would like. Whether that's the couch on the main floor, snuggling with us, in a kennel or on a dog bed, it's up to them. I am a teacher and at home during the summer months, so your pup will have someone with them all the time. Outside of the summer months we do both work full time and are out of the house from 7am until 3:30pm. Most weekends we are at home, hanging out around the house, enjoying walks around our neighbourhood. Please keep in mind that we don’t do drop off’s earlier than 7:00am or later than 8:00pm (except weekend evenings can be later). Any questions please feel free to contact us! Cassie & Jarrett

Cassandra was really great without 3 dogs. They were happy and comfortable with her and her dogs. She also really helped us out by extending their stay when we had to catch a later ferry than planned. Highly recommended!

Cassandra and her husband take great care of my boy Rubble. He is so well-loved and he has a whole family full of other dogs, kids, and pet parents who never leave him feeling alone or neglected.

Schedule
As with our 2 dogs we make sure to get them fed in the mornings before work and afternoons are spent hanging out at the house, playing in the yard etc.

Safety, trust & environment
We have fully replaced all the fencing around our property since we moved in 10 years ago. Also the gates are all locked, and child proof. We also have a gate at the front door that dogs are placed behind before opening the front door.

A typical day
We are a family that loves to cuddle your pups, spend time outside with them or snuggling on the couch. They'll feel right at home with us.
