Pet car is a part of my daily life! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but my evenings and weekends are spent at home with my family and our dogs. During the workweek, dogs staying with us should be comfortable resting in a crate for portions of the day. I’m able to come home and provide a break about every 4 hours for potty time, stretching, and attention. Weekends are often the best fit for dogs who prefer more one-on-one time, as we’re home much more and can give them extra playtime, walks, and attention from Friday evening through Monday morning.

Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in our home. Dogs staying with us are treated like part of the family, but we also make sure introductions and routines are handled thoughtfully to keep everyone safe and happy. Because we have two friendly dogs and children in the home, I only accept dogs that are comfortable around both kids and other dogs. When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them gradually and supervise interactions to ensure everyone adjusts well. Dogs are never left unsupervised with children, and I closely monitor playtime with our dogs as well. If needed, I can separate dogs using crates or different areas of the home to make sure everyone feels comfortable. During the workweek, dogs may spend some time resting in a crate or designated safe space, with regular potty breaks and attention throughout the day. Evenings and weekends include more time for play, walks, and relaxing with the family. I’m happy to follow each dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, and any specific care instructions so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away

Hi! I’m Cassie, a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a farm caring for all animals! From a young age I learned how to safely handle and care for pets of all sizes, from tiny pups to large working dogs. Our home is very pet-friendly. We have a fully fenced in backyard and two friendly neutered & fully vaccinated dogs, and we have kids who have grown up learning to respect and be gentle with pets. Because of that, I only accept dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs so everyone can have a safe and relaxed stay. Your dog will be treated like part of the family here. They’ll get plenty of attention, outdoor time, and a calm home environment while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they feel as comfortable as possible. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs, and I’m comfortable administering basic medications if needed.
