I do not take in pets into my own home; however, I am more than willing to come to your home to care for your pet(s)! I do my best to keep their routine as normal as it is when the parent is at home.
Information Cassandra L. would like to know about your pet
If your pets have any special care instructions (diet, medication, training, etc.), I would prefer typed out instructions that I can access at any time, as needed. Additionally, I would prefer to know any of your pets triggers (cars, people, other animals, etc.) ahead of time. Also, I do not mind caring for pets with certain behavioral issues as long as they are addressed honestly ahead of time so that we can work out any training methods or specific care instructions ahead of time. Finally, if there are any specific tricks or methods of care that would help me care for your pet, especially if medication needs to be administered, I would prefer to also know those ahead of time.
A typical day
For younger or high energy dogs, I love to tucker them out and give them an outlet for their energy. I enjoy endlessly throwing balls and/or frisbees, as well as taking them for long walks. I never shy away from a dog that loves a good sniff. I am vigilant in ensuring that they are not eating anything they come across on a walk, but I always let them get a good whif of whatever it is they think they are smelling. If the owner allows it and the dog is okay with car rides, I love to take doggos to a park to walk around or hang out. For older dogs or dogs with disabilities/injuries, I love to take them on leisure walks, and I do my best to keep them out long enough to do their serious business (poop) without tiring them out or triggering further injury. For every type of dog, I always welcome a good cuddle session!

Pet care experience
I love pets of any kind! I have had extensive experience in petsitting and caring for a variety of pets my entire life, and have some training experience, though I have no certifications. I put the pet's care as a priority, and do my best to treat every pet as they were my own. I consistently check-in with the pet's parent by sending periodic photos/videos, and follow pet care instructions to the T. I also have experience administering non-needle medications.

Cassandra was fantastic. She clearly fell in love with my cat, and went above and beyond taking care of her. I would hire her again in a minute. She is very neat and tidy, she left the place in better shape than it was when I left it to her.She communicates well, she takes instruction, she ask questions, and, by the end, my cat clearly had made Cassandra a part of her posse.
Cassandra has been an amazing dog walker for our golden retriever! This was our first time using Rover and Cassandra exceeded our expectations. She has excellent communication and always includes lots of pictures and information in her notes.
Cassandra was great with our senior pup. My dog doesn’t like most people but warmed up quickly to her. I received regular updates and pics, and I could tell my dog was in really great hands. Cassandra was really personable and made me feel at ease. I will definitely hire her again. Highly recommend!
