I currently work afternoons or evenings at my "real" job, so for drop-in visits, I'm often available to drop by and take care of your fur baby during weekday mornings, late evenings, or on the weekends. When I'm housesitting, I try to adapt my work schedule as closely as possible to that of my clients, so that the pets have some consistency with their walks, meals, and potty breaks.

I am an active runner/walker with lots of pet sitting experience - I've watched neighborhood dogs since I was very young and continued to do so for pay through undergrad and grad school. I'm very good with both dogs and cats. I've always loved animals and currently can't have a dog in my home so you are doing my as much a favor as I am doing you by staying with your dog, stopping by and checking on your dog, or by taking them for a walk. I'm looking forward to taking care of your dog, big or small! Please let me know if they have special routines they like - I always try to provide the very best standard of care. Cassie was awesome from the very first contact! After reaching out, we exchanged messages to find a good time to meet and she was super communicative and punctual--I really appreciated that because it gave me a great feeling about her level of responsibility and organization. We have an older dog with some special needs, so we're very particular about the care we find for him. We need someone who can spend a lot of time at home and create a relaxing day-to-day routine, with lots of trips outside and lots of love and treats. Cassie was very attentive in learning about his routines and comfortable giving him medication and dealing with his senior-dog idiosyncrasies. While on the trip, she sent regular photos and updates and everything went smoothly. It gave us a lot of comfort knowing he was being well taken care of! Linus seemed very relaxed and happy when we returned and the house was so well taken care of--everything was just as we left it and she was so thoughtful in getting the bed made for us and washing towels and everything. It all couldn't have gone any better. We look forward to having Cassie come back and dog sit for us again in the future!
Cassandra stayed with our 2 dogs over Christmas. It was our first time using Rover. The experience couldn't have been better. She was amazingly patient with our shy dog and did a great job balancing the needs of the other 'needier' dog :) Communication was great--we got updates and pictures regularly. We won't hesitate to call Cassandra again next time we have to go out of town!
