Experienced Animal Caregiver
From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands.

Cassandra(Cassi) is a very trustworthy young lady who loves animals and treats each one as if it were her own. I have had her care for my dogs several times and would not hesitate to call her again. In fact she has also cared for my birds and does a great job with them. Animals seem to know that she loves them and get along with her right away. If you need her h lap, she will be there for you!
Cassandra has pet sat my dog Nala twice while I was on vacation, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for someone better. She took care of Nala for a week, and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. She took care of everything, from feeding and walking her to spending time with her and making sure she was happy and comfortable. She also always sent me pictures and updates, which made me feel so much better while I was away. Nala is very energetic, clingy, and definitely spoiled. She thinks everyone is her best friend, but she can also be a total scaredy cat, so it’s important to me that she’s with someone patient and loving. Cassandra is seriously one of the sweetest and most caring people I know. She genuinely cares about the pets she takes care of and is always willing to help when she can. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to take care of their pets.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a friendly, dog-loving dog of my own who enjoys having other dogs around. I always take introductions at the dogs’ pace, though, and I pay close attention to their personalities and body language to make sure everyone is comfortable. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.

When caring for your pet, my top priority is for them to feel safe with me and enjoy their time. Depending on your pet's physical and mental needs, I'm happy to take them on walks, play with toys, provide enrichment, and keep them company while they relax.
