Hi, I’m Cassie and I’m here to fill all of your pet care needs! As a pet owner myself, 2 cats and a GSD, I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind when you travel or are simply in a busy season. I struggle with it myself. When you are away, your pets deserve attention, playtime, cuddles, and a normal routine right in their own home, where they feel safest. As a Bloomington-Normal native, I grew up in the country with all sorts of pets. In addition to our family cats and dogs I also cared for chickens and horses. My mother was a science teacher and every summer we would bring home the animals from her classroom: birds, rabbits, hamsters, and a tarantula. I learned very young not all pets are created the same, and an individualized approach to care was not only respectful of the pet, but also required for their safety. I have cared for pets in all stages of life from puppy/kitten through terminal cancer support in senior years. I adhere to the essential laws of pet happiness: 1) Food must appear on time every day. 2) Walks must include maximum sniffing time and end with belly rubs. 3) Playtime is serious business. 4) Cuddles are required on any day ending in “Y” unless alone time is signaled for. In all seriousness, I provide dependable services designed to keep your pets, safe, happy, and engaged while also providing you with peace of mind that your furry children are well cared for while you are away. While visiting your home, I am respectful of your property, your provided guidelines, and the trust you have placed in me to care for your pet. I have schedule flexibility and can work with your household schedule for walking, sitting, or drop in care. PRIOR TO ACCEPTING a booking I will request a meet and greet to ensure I am a good fit for you and your furry child.
