Pet care experience

Purr-viding the best care paw-sible

As a child raised on a farm, I developed a natural ability to nurture and care for animals of all kinds. For as long as I can remember, I have provided my pets with everything they need to thrive. I have owned several dogs and cats over the years. I make sure they remain happy and healthy. This includes administering treatments when necessary, bathing them regularly, trimming their nails, keeping up with vaccinations and medical checkups, and providing plenty of affection and companionship on a daily basis. Taking care of animals comes naturally to me. I not only provide for their basic needs, but I also establish a loving bond with my pets through consistent care, grooming, attention, and of course walks and treats. The wellbeing of the animals in my care is of the utmost importance to me.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

As a dedicated pet caregiver, I provide for all the needs of the animals under my supervision. Whether at my own home or a client's residence, my focus is always on ensuring the pets remain happy, healthy, and well behaved. I allow the pets outdoor access at regular intervals, taking them for walks when needed. Basic hygiene is a priority, so pets receive routine grooming that includes baths and nail trimming. I play with the animals frequently to and provide lots of affection, hugs, and praise to make sure they feel loved. Their diet is closely monitored. I prepare fresh food and change water dishes regularly. I also secure away objects that could pose a hazard if left where a pet could access them. Regular vet appointments are scheduled to check them out and keep them up to date with everything. I take the pets to parks and other open spaces for fun. My role as a pet caregiver ensures all needs are met and the animals remain comfortable and content, whether at my own residence or under my supervision at a client's home. The pets' happiness and wellbeing are my top priorities.

Schedule

Pet care is completely integrated into my daily routine and responsibilities. From the moment I wake up, my focus is on ensuring the needs of my pets are met. Each morning begins with filling food and water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and walking the dogs. My farm animals also require daily attention in terms of feeding, watering and letting them into their specific areas. Throughout the day, I am constantly checking in on my pets, refilling water, playing with them, and providing comfort and companionship. If any of my pets show signs they are unwell or need to see a vet, I make that my top priority and will rearrange my schedule accordingly to take them to appointments. Even during the nighttime, I am there for my pet and their needs and listen for any sounds that would indicate they want to go outside or need something. Their wellbeing and happiness comes before anything else in my routine. No matter what else is going on in my day, my pets always receive the time, care and love they deserve from me.

1. Pet's Name and Personality: Knowing the dog's name helps establish a personal connection and makes them feel more comfortable. Understanding their personality traits, likes, and dislikes allows me to cater to their individual needs and preferences. It helps me create a positive and tailored experience for them. 1. Feeding Schedule and Habits: It's essential to know when and how much the dog is usually fed. Maintaining their regular feeding routine helps promote consistency and prevents any digestive issues. I make sure to let them out for bathroom breaks a few minutes after they eat and monitor their bathroom needs throughout the day. 1. Health Conditions and Allergies: Being aware of any existing health problems or medical conditions the dog may have is crucial. It helps me provide appropriate care and take necessary precautions. Knowing their allergies allows me to avoid potential triggers and provide a safe environment. 1. House Training and Age: Understanding if the dog is house trained helps me establish a routine for bathroom breaks and reinforces good habits. Knowing their age is also important as it provides insights into their energy levels and specific needs based on their life stage. 1. Socialization and Triggers: It's important to know if the dog is social and comfortable around people and other animals, or if they prefer solitude. Being aware of any triggers, such as fear of rain or cars, helps me create a secure and stress-free environment for them. 1. Access to Water, Food, Treats, and Leash: Knowing where to find their essentials, such as water, food, treats, and leash, ensures that their basic needs are met promptly and easily accessible. 1. Commands and Training: Understanding the commands the dog already knows helps me effectively communicate with them and maintain consistency in their training. It allows me to continue their training or reinforce their existing knowledge. 1. Emergency Contacts and Vet Information: Having contact information from the owner in case of emergencies is crucial. Knowing their preferred veterinarian and how to reach them ensures prompt medical attention if needed. 1. Alone Time and House Hazards: Understanding if the dog can be left alone and for how long helps me plan their care schedule. Being aware of any potential hazards or items in the house that the dog could access helps me create a safe environment and prevent accidents. By gathering all this important information ahead of time, I can provide personalized and attentive care for the dog, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay.
