I have a very gentle nature and often even nervous dogs accept me. I understand dog body language and expressions, and am familiar with the needs of different breeds. I've owned dogs the majority of my life and love all of them. I have experience dog walking and pet sitting. I'm an educator during the school year, and have a very open schedule during the summer. I've cared for boxers, labs, bulldogs, schnauzers, chihuahuas, and many other breeds. I have experience volunteering at an animal shelter where I had to walk dogs, refill food/water, and socialize cats. While I may not know everything, I have excellent research skills and am willing to learn any animal skills I lack. I am also familiar with signs of illness and stress in animals, and would let the owner know immediately if anything was wrong. I currently do not have any dogs of my own-- just a snuggly orange tabby.
