As a veterinary technician with over 15 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, and livestock in a variety of settings—including veterinary medicine, boarding and daycare kennels, training and breeding facilities, and a cattery. My 4-H alumni roots shaped my dedication to animal care from a young age, giving me a lifelong foundation of responsibility and compassion. This unique combination of medical knowledge, practical experience, and genuine love for animals ensures pets receive not only affection, but also expert, reliable care.

Cassandra did a wonderful job watching my dog and cat while staying over at my house. My pets were happy and calm when i returned home. The house was very neat and all instructions were followed with care. I loved getting daily updates and photos. I feel comfortable having her care for my pets again. I don't have any worries or stress about going away again other than Cassandra not being available. I highly recommend her to care for your pets too!

Cass did a fabulous job taking care of my dogs while I was away. When I came back the dogs were very relaxed. I would definitely use Cass again if I ever go away again.
Cass was friendly and professional and handled our Rottweiler very well. She even stayed an extra day when our flight got delayed and we missed our connection and were stuck in another city. She was respectful of our home and left it as she found it. We had a concern as she had an emergency at work one day and our girl had to wait longer than normal to go outside, but everything worked out. Her love for animals shows and Gracie gives her high paws! 🐾

Schedule
I work full time as a vet tech, I am available for mid-day pop-ins within 15 minutes of Ocean Isle, and over night stays 7 days a week (including holidays)!
