I have worked for several years as a pet caregiver and have no intention of stopping throughout my lifetime. I have volunteered at the Richmond Animal League for over 10 years now, in which I have walked dogs, cleaned carriers and kennels, and administered various types of medications. In the most recent summer, I walked both large and small dogs, and loved every minute of it. I also watched over 3 cats for a brief time, one of which required the administration of insulin bi-daily for her diabetes. A few years ago, I worked at a pet hospital/animal resort where I cleaned cages, had a blast playing with the dogs and cats, as well as learned to bathe large and small dogs of various ages. Personally, I own 2 cats and am very well experienced in feeding and grooming them, as well as dogs!
