I have had dogs my whole life. My first dog on my own as an adult is currently a senior. He is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves to play with new friends. I have about 10 years of experience, dog sitting friends and family members' dogs. I am comfortable working with food aggressive dogs, highly anxious dogs, and everyone in between. I am experience with administering medications, working with puppies and supporting senior dogs. I have a great track record with leash training, potty training and winning over anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement (single ingredient dried pumpkin treats) to keep your pups attention and gain their trust. I am happy to do a meet and greet beforehand in order to gain your trust too :) I look forward to working with you!

Casey is phenomenal. Great communication, super attentive and professional. She came for a “meet a greet” to our house and was not on time but very friendly and respectful. Our dog, Apollo, was immediately responsive to her and you can just tell she loves animals. She accommodates our requests and we’re very grateful to have found her. She has done 3 walks for us and we’ll continue to hire her on a weekly basis. 10/10!
We had a fabulous experience with Casey. She showed up on time, was super friendly and easy to communicate with, and our German Shepherd loved her right away. She sent great updates and really took good care of our dog. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I am available for walks after 2:00 p.m. on those days and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available Monday through Friday for pet sitting, but will be out of the house for the hours of 8-1 MWF. My partner works from home, so if your dog need 24/7 care we can arrange that.

As I mentioned in my bio, my main training mechanism is positive reinforcement. I do not believe in punishing dogs. In my experience it does not work and does not feel good! That being said, I am happy to work with you and come up with a plan together.
Pets
A typical day
I'd love to throw the ball for your pup, play tug of war, play chase games with me and Max (my dog). I can also play mental stimulation type games (my favorite is hiding treats around and letting puppo search for them. I love to walk and hike! I can teach them tricks as well if you'd like.
