Information Casey R. would like to know about your pet

Any medications/medical conditions or food allergies should be discussed first. 2nd would be up to date vaccine records, age, breed, sex, and if there is a bite history or any fear reactivity. From there let me know anything that your dog finds fun, cozy, any anxieties they might have, or anything that would make them more comfortable when meeting me or for when their momma and papa are away.

A typical day

6:30 am is time to wake up! First potty rounds for all the dogs. Then for the playful dogs a few minutes of stimulation and play. From there rotate the any dogs that have any behavioral concerns or prefer 1 on 1 time for their stimulation. By 7:30 it is feeding time followed by another potty round and some more social and 1 on 1 time. 9 o'clock they will go back in their kennels for a few hours while I take care of training lessons and anything I need to for the day. Mid day around 12:30 there is a 3 hour window of rotating dogs again. From 3:30 to 6:30 back into kennels for my traning session time. 6:30-7 is dinner then rotating dogs again until 10pm which is final potty rounds and bedtime (if you have a dog you want to keep on a specific sleep or feeding schedule let me know and I can accommodate)

Pet care experience

My name is Casey. I have been working with dogs professionally for about a decade in Washington state. Ran a small boarding and training business in WA. Trained hundreds of dogs with their owners in sport, obedience, group classes, service, and behavioral modification. Me and my family are moving south to the Mobile area and I am exited to start working with dogs again in a different area and meet all the new personalities the dogs have!

Casey is incredible! He is a highly skilled and talented dog trainer and is completely trustworthy. He was always reliable and with training and care of board and train dogs and caring for my own personal dogs too! Casey is the guy, whether you're looking for advanced behavior work, basic training, or skilled care.

We were directed to Casey by the owner of a rescue and our vet when, despite all of our best efforts, we were struggling with our new pup's anxiety and behaviors. Casey came to our house to work with her (us) on building confidence, redirection of her fear-based behavior, and used positive reinforcement techniques only. It made all the difference. She is now comfortable and we get to see her playful and relaxed side. He has an extensive skill set working with dogs and is great with communication. Over the last several years he's also boarded our dog which felt comforting she was in good hands and getting one on one attention.

Casey is a very knowledgeable and patient dog trainer. The first time I took my dog Joseph Valentine (Joey) to him was when he was a puppy. We had been to the Petco pet class but we left there frustrated and Joey was showing signs of anxiety. Casey showed me calm ways to help calm him down and for him to focus on me. The second time we went to Casey was after Joey was attacked by my neighbors dog. Joey 6was in and out of the vet for more than a month. This sent him in a reverse cycle of anxiety and fear of everything. From dogs, bicycles, skateboards, people. He did want to go for walks and was aggressive towards other people and dogs. Casey patiently worked with me and Joey to help reset our thinking and habits. I recomend anyone who has a challenging, anxious dog they love. Thank you, Casey from Joey and I Your the best, we are going to miss you.

Casey came recommended to my Husband and I through our veterinary doctor who said that Casey specialized in reactive/aggressive dogs, and specifically large breed dogs. By the time Casey came into our lives, our dog Kane (a Cane Corso) was close to 2 years old. Kane wasn’t completely beyond help at this point, but too much time had gone by and we knew he couldn’t be magically fixed at this point. What Casey did for us over the next couple years was give us the tools to help us in the situation we were already in. He also created a bond with Kane and they became the bestest of friends. We spent about a year doing training sessions at our house and Casey’s house. After that, Casey suggested that he continue to stop by for visits to our house so that their bond would stay strong. Because Kane has a very small world around him, having Casey come by for visits made Kane’s day! He was always so excited to see him. Casey has a very calm presence about him and is very knowledgeable in dealing with reactive/aggressive dogs. His pricing for training sessions was very reasonable. He goes above and beyond because he cares and has a passion for what he does. We were so sad when we learned he was going to be moving to Alabama. We wish him all the best on his new adventure. Any new clients he obtains are incredibly blessed to have him as their dog trainer!
