Critter-focused Connection
I've been house and farm-sitting since I was a kid, taking care of cats, dogs, horses, snakes, chickens, and ducks. My focus is always on what's best for critters given both their species specific and individually unique needs and preferences. I'm also a PhD student in biology studying animal behavior; I have a long-standing interest in animals and have worked with numerous species in my professional biology career - ranging from ants to prairie dogs. With domestic species, I have worked as both a dog-walker and stablehand, caring for stallions and Olympic-level competition horses. I currently have two very charming foster-fail cats, Pancake and Pierre, who live active lives with walks, a large outdoor catio, and as much enrichment as I can devise. I also had Pomeranian named NikNik (visible in my profile photo) who required very extended end-of-life care with round-the-clock medication, cognitive decline and blindness; I have A LOT of practice with high-needs pets, senior care, and creating good experiences for disabled animals.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and large catio, so pets that visit my home can run around and interact my animals safely. I'm very safety-conscious when I'm out and about with animals, always minding doors, traffic, food, strangers, other critters, etc.
Ratings and reviews
Casey is a true lover of non-human companions. Casey goes above and beyond to enrich the lives of furry friends and will take wonderful care of yours wither it is just for a walk, spending quality time with them, or more. Highly recommend.
Casey loves animals more than anyone I know. She will make sure your pets are fed, played with, walked, cared for, whatever they need- exactly as expected and beyond. I don’t worry about our cats at all if Casey’s available to take care of them, which is rare for me! She responds to requests quickly and is the most reliable sitter we have had.
Casey is an amazing caretaker for pets. She has decades of experience with different types of animals, through all kinds of unique scenarios. Casey is well acquainted with medical care as well. Having a background in animal science and conservation, she is constantly aware of a pet's needs and can provide appropriate stimulation and engagement. I would trust the care of my animals to Casey without a second thought.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible. I'm currently working on my PhD and teaching music lessons, so can venture hither and yon with a good deal of freedom.
