Pet care experience

Insured full-time petsitter!

If your pup uses a crate, I have x-large dog crates to small dog crates that I can set up. The back door has a dog door that they can use to enjoy the massive fenced in yard! I feed dog separately due to the tendency for dogs to play “musical bowls” as they eat. This keeps all the dogs eating their own food only. I am comfortable working with a variety of animals that need care. I worked in a horse barn for two years and have four years of barn hand experience. That being said, I offer livestock care as well. When it comes to my own household, I have four miniature dachshunds. They are all good with other dogs and love that they have new friends coming and going. I have two cats that stay secure and separate in a gated room.

Casey is a wonderful sitter. I'm not sure the dogs didn't have a better time on their vacation than I did! She was great with communicating and sending photo updates. I would definitely re-book.

Casey did a great job with my 2 boys. They stayed with her overnight while I was out of town for 4 days. She gave me updates and pictures. I was confident they were in good hands. I will definitely use her again.

Doggy Day Care • May 24, 2026

Overall did not have a great experience with Casey. We dropped our dog off at 7 in the morning and I typically will send a message after an hour seeing how my dog is adjusting. I didn’t hear from Casey until 11am- after I messaged her three times and called four times and on the fourth call I got an answer. The excuse was that Casey “was outside.” Which normally wouldn’t raise any eyebrows at that but I hadn’t heard from Casey at all since we dropped him off- 4 hours of zero communication. We also have a Tractive on our dog and could see that he was definitely not outside due to his active minutes. I informed Casey of the tracker before we left. He slept for over 9.5 hours which is NOT usual for him as he is a very active dog. Maybe I am an overprotective parent to my dog and it’s why we don’t leave him with people often- but I was very disappointed with Casey overall. I gave two stars because we did start to receive prompt responses back after we spoke on the phone.

I was in a bind and Casey was a lifesaver in being able to take such great care of my Lucas on short notice. I would certainly trust him in her care again.

Safety, trust & environment

My home is very pet friendly and dog proofed. I have paper towels and puppy pads on deck for the young and old alike. There are also multiple size crates, blankets, dog beds and towels for any guests to borrow. Given most dogs are from a single dog home, I also can provide down/alone time when they need a break from socializing. Their feeding schedule can be what they are used to at home.

Pets

A typical day

Your dog will get association with other pups as well as quality leisure time in a home environment. My house activity level is at the discretion of my guests. My dogs love a change of pace with a young pup, but also appreciate the calmness of an elder dog. We allow all the fun and games as long as everyone is safe and respectful. They can also enjoy my large fenced in yard and lots of durable toys.
