I am a responsible, reliable, and intuitive dog enthusiast, who will care for your dog as if they were my own. I understand the importance of showing up when scheduled and tailoring the service to your dog's individual needs. I grew up with family dogs since birth, and have cared for my own dogs over the past 20 years. I started a professional dog walking and sitting business in 2018. I have experience with many different breeds, ages, and abilities. Through my dog walking business, I also have extensive experience walking small groups of dogs off-leash in nature. If you are interested in this service, I have 2 female golden retrievers who would be happy to join your dog on a group nature walk, providing maximum socialization, fun, and exercise! I've recently relocated to Strafford, NH so I'm looking forward to building my clientele in a new area!

Casey walked our puppy as we transitioned back to working in the office. She took our girl for walks and played with her in the yard. Bear was always happy and tired after she left! Casey also took great care of our dog after she was spayed and made sure she was comfortable. I would recommend hiring Casey to walk and play with your dog!
Casey has always loved animals, especially dogs. When she was a child in elementary school, the only books she ever wanted to take from the library were books about dogs. Her family always owned dogs, and she loved feeding and walking and playing with them--even curling up and sleeping with them. In fact, she enjoyed taking care of anyone's dog, as she often did for a former boyfriend's dog. Her dream was to work with dogs when she grew up, so it's wonderful to see her finally moving in that direction. She has been a conscientious, responsible, reliable employee during her years working at Harvard, and I have no doubt that she will bring these qualities with her now that she is moving into a field she truly loves. Just in the few weeks since she decided to make this move, it's amazing to see how much more knowledgeable she has become about dogs from once again reading about them and learning how to keep them healthy and happy.

Schedule
Dog care is my full-time job and life, so I'm available Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with some after-hours availability on an as-needed basis. I will tailor my visits to your dog's needs and provide plenty of love!

Safety, trust & environment
I can board your dog in my home or overnight sit in your home any day of the week. My dogs are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too. They sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, so your dog would also be welcome to sleep in our bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play. If you would prefer me to stay in your home overnight, I have a lot of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs, and often bring my dogs with me to provide socialization (if you want).

A typical day
I love to find wooded trails but I also enjoy taking dogs for walks around town, if that's what they are used to. If your dog prefers to stay close to home, I am happy to play with them in your yard/home or just snuggle with them if they aren't very mobile.
