Hi! My name is Casey - I'm a dog lover and passionate about proper pet care! Whether your pet needs a drop in, a walk, or if they need a companion/caretaker while you're away, I'll treat them as if they were my own. I provide a worry-free experience - sending photos and updates on each visit to reassure you that your pet is in great hands, getting lots of love and attention in your absence. While I do not have professional pet care experience, I care for dogs on a regular basis. My husband and I have two dogs - both Siberian Huskies - and I volunteer weekly for Canine Rescue of Central PA as a dog walker. Being a rescue volunteer has helped me gain experience with the proper handling of dogs that may have behavioral quirks as part of their personality - reactivity, anxiety, etc; as well as dogs of all ages and sizes - from puppies to seniors, little and large. I am also taking courses with Victoria Stilwell Academy on the Fundamentals of Canine Training and Behavior to better understand the canine/human relationship and how to set dogs up for success. Eventually, I'd love to become a dog trainer. I also have cat experience as I've grown up with cats most of my life so if your furry friend meows, rather than barks, no worries! I'll happily give them some love as well and make sure they have all their essentials - food, water, a clean litterbox, etc. I do require a meet and greet with you and your pet prior to booking so I cannot accommodate last-minute new client requests. I unfortunately am unable to accept recurring requests at this time as I can't guarantee long-term availability. For mid-day drop-ins and walks, I can handle one or two per day as I work full time in Harrisburg and would be coming over my lunch break. From 4:30 pm on, I can take on several walks and drop-ins. Weekends are also completely open for drop-ins and walks. I'll make sure my schedule will reflect if I'm unavailable. If you're going away, I can house sit and watch your pets in the comfort of your home. I can get your mail, water plants, and clean up around your home while giving your pets lots of love and attention, exercise, and care. **DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, HOUSE SITTING CAN BE PROVIDED DURING THE WEEK** Due to my full time job, I only accept house sitting on weekends - I want to ensure your pet has my full attention. Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any behavioral problems, medical conditions, or anything additional I need to be aware of and I'll happily tailor my visit to fit your comfort level when it comes to caring for your pet. When I care for your dog or cat, I guarantee a visit that is worry free - regular communication, plenty of photos, and most importantly, plenty of love and attention!
