Availability

🗓 Schedule: I live in Ossining, NY and have a consistent dog walk client (1 afternoon walk, Tues-Fri) in Mount Kisco, NY. Reliable car - open to traveling longer distances for overnight stays of 2 nights or more. I am currently working part time/seasonally with a local theatre company. So I have lots of downtime, especially between productions. Even when I'm in-production, my weekday mornings and afternoons (before 3pm) will still be mostly free. My summers book quickly, with current clients getting first dibs! 🏠 Pet/housesitting: ❗️Must do a meet and greet, and book a walk first. 🦴 Feedings, up to 3 walks/day, and not left alone longer than 3-4 hours. 🌙 Overnight stay unless otherwise specified. 🌱 Plant & house care ✏️ If your pet/home requires additional work, I'm happy to accomodate but I may need to adjust my rate accordingly.

Simply put, I treat your pet like I'd treat my own. I'll follow any instructions given and be sure to give them extra love and attention.

Information Casey B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any medical needs, injuries/arthritis, physical limitations, personality quirks, and if they interact well with other animals/humans or not. Dogs over 40lbs: I can only walk them if they are calm and/or leash-trained (to not constantly pull against the leash really hard when they get excited by a dog, human, etc.). If there's anything I can do to make your pet more comfortable, I'm happy to accommodate as much as possible. Please be detailed and transparent so we can work together for everyone's comfort and safety. 🏠 For petsitting: Please be as detailed as possible about your pet's current routine (AM wakeup time and timing/how often: walks, treats/snacks/meals, any medications), as well as communicating what hours/for how long they are used to having a human home - this is in order to ensure a good, happy fit for all!

A typical day

I love to let my four-legged friends show me around their neighborhood on our walks. We'll walk, play, and have a water break in the yard, on the porch, or in the house (with some treats, if allowed!). With your permission, I also enjoy going on outings - bringing your pup on a car ride to a local dog-friendly park and/or enjoying some downtime sitting at a coffeehouse patio.

Pet care experience

I grew up with all sorts of pets- rescue dogs, a cat, rabbits, hamsters, a guinea pig, freshwater fish, and a parakeet! In 2021 I started venturing into pet-& house-sitting more seriously when a family friend asked me to look after her senior doggo, three aquatic turtles and two cats. It didn't take long before her neighbors started chatting with me on our walks and asked me to pet-sit for them too. I've been staying busy ever since - mostly via word-of-mouth referrals. Client count so far: 8 dogs, 12 cats, 3 turtles, and countless plants! I have experience administering oral medications (pills and syringe), taking care of seniors with medical issues, and supporting pups through scary fireworks and storms. I take special pride in my ability to win over even the shyest fur baby. So far, I have a perfect streak and no intention of losing it! I am detail-oriented and make sure I leave every home as clean (or cleaner!) than I found it. I have an extra soft spot for rabbits, so if you're reading this, I'm your girl!

Casey is a fantastic sitter. She spends extra time to make sure our cats are taken care of. She went above and beyond to make sure they not only had fresh food and litter but also makes sure they had some playtime and pets too. She pays attention to the details and does a fantastic job. Trustworthy and on time, I would recommend Casey any day.

Casey did a fantastic job of taking of our older dogs. Upon returning home, we found our pets healthy and happy! She also took great care of our home and plants. We appreciated the pet photos she sent while we were away. I wouldn't hesitate to have her take care of our pets again.

Casey has taken care of our cat several times for up to two weeks at a time. She is reliable, responsive and my cat loves her. Casey comes to our house, lets herself in, feeds the cat, gives her some love & cleans the litterbox. She also waters our houseplants. When I give directions, she listens carefully & always does what I ask. I feel confident leaving my pet & house in her care while I am away from home. I highly recommend Casey.
