Now offering extended companion care - perfect for pets who need company for most or all of the day! Ask about my 8-12hr options! I've spent many years caring for a wide rang of animals - from cats and dogs, to reptiles, fish, birds, and even some farm animals! I studied Animal Sciences at a 4-year university, building a strong foundation in animal behavior and care. During dog walks, I often include gentle training techniques to build confidence and ease nerves. While I am not a certified trainer, I've spent the last 7 years researching and applying effective, reward-based methods with my own dogs and my clients' dogs (with permission, of course!) I am also experienced with senior pets and animals with special needs - including those who require time-sensitive medications! Many call me an 'animal whisperer' because of how well animals acclimate to me, so I will be the perfect match for your pet and will make them feel loved and cared for in the comfort of their own home while you're away!

As you may have noticed from my profile, I have a little zoo of my own! But how do I know they are taken care of while I'm away? Well, I live with my partner, and he takes exceptional care of my fur children while I'm out and about providing care for my clients' pets! As a client, you may also be wondering how I am caring for YOUR pets. No need to worry! I always encourage my clients to write/send me an entire "book" of care instructions for me to read through...and yes, I will read every single word, very diligently and carefully! Following my clients' schedules for their pet(s) is something I take very seriously, especially if their pet(s) habe certain needs during specific needs, or simply just needs a long cuddle!

Cassandra did a great job for us. First of all she kept in contact with before and through out our booking. She took great care of our dog and sent us pictures and text that reassured us he was doing well. She collected our mail, got the trash bins out and even took care or our recycle bin on the correct day.
It’s always hard to leave my furry family member when going away, but Cas made me feel so comfortable knowing she was in great hands while I was away! Cas was so caring, communicative, and sent updates so I knew how Jasper (my cat) was doing while I was away! Cas rocks! I highly recommend booking with her and will definitely book with her for any upcoming trips!
My pup, Penny, is very reactive to people she doesn't know. Cas was willing to meet up about 5 times before our actual trip to get to know Penny and be gentle with her until Penny was comfortable. Then Cas did such a wonderful job taking care of Penny while we were gone on vacation. She sent pictures and updates throughout our time away. She's very concientious and asks questions as needed. And on top of all that left our house extremely clean!! I'll use Cas for all my Penny watching needs!!
This was my first experience using a pet sitter, and Cas was great! My dog is older and needs some meds each day, and Cas took care of everything with ease. I so appreciated having her stay overnight with my guy. She also kept me updated while I was away. I’ll be sure to work with her again!
Cass was great with my crazy pug and my older cat. She sent pictures and communicated well, and I can tell she took excellent care of them. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work full time at a doggy daycare M-F from around 12:30pm-8:00pm, so anytime before or after my shifts I am available for services such as walks, drop-ins, and all-day visits (on weekends)! Not sure if I will be available? Just ask!

- Please let me know about any anxious, nervous, or reactive behavior. This applies to all animals! It would also be good to note if your pet(s) have any weird quirks or behaviors that I need to be aware of! Doing so will allow me to prepare for anything that may happen while they are under my care! For example: Is your dog leash reactive? Does your dog know basic commands? Any history of resource guarding? Bite history? etc.. "Velcro" pets are my favorite - I love endless love and cuddles! But I also love independent pets who I can love from afar; all needs are welcome!
