I truly love animals and understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to get to know their individual personality, routine, and needs. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I've raised my own dog from a puppy, so I'm familiar with the patience, consistency, and care that young dogs need as they grow. I’ve looked after dogs from both ends of the scales, such as Jack Russell and husky’s. I have also cared for two cats since I was 4 —one from kittenhood and one who was a rescue—which has given me experience with different temperaments and helping pets feel safe and comfortable.

Biscuit had the most amazing stay with Carys! Would hundred percent recommend to anyone to leave their pet with Carys. I felt confident from the initial meet and my expectations were far exceeded. Carys was the perfect cat sitter. She took amazing care of both my cat and my home and gave me regular updates which was great to receive. Coming back she left my home clean (if not cleaner) and tidy and my cat seemed happier than ever. I would recommend Carys to anyone looking for a cat sitter. Have absolutely zero complaints!! 5+ stars!

Carys was a fabulous sitter! Tara looked so happy staying with her, and she sent us lots of cute photos of our pup and updates throughout the trip. These updates really brightened my day and helped me feel assured knowing Tara was in good hands. :)
Carys is the best cat sitter we've had! ✨️ She took great care of my cat Tortie. Carys followed precisely the list of instructions I sent her, and was also playing with Tortie. I am usually anxious when leaving Tortie alone at home but Carys was great at communicating and sending updates, which reassured me Tortie is in good hands. I would book Carys again to look after her without thinking twice 💕
Cary’s was very helpful and communication was prompt with regular updates. Looked after Snoop for three days and returned settled and happy. Would recommend and happy to use again.

Schedule
I am currently a third year student at university so my schedule is super flexible! The majority of my work is off campus so I am free to regular visits during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m super happy to do home visits and care for your pets in their comfort spaces. I believe pets are happiest when their usual routine is maintained, therefore I will follow their normal feeding, walking, play, and sleeping schedule as closely as possible! I'll make sure they receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection, while also keeping their home clean and secure. Additionally I am always super respectful of your home and ensure I follow any schedule you provide.
A typical day
I absolutely love being active and going on walks, so exploring the parks and neighbourhood with your pet will be a definite! However, I will tailor activities to their age and energy level, whether that's walks, games of fetch, tug toys, gentle training practice, or plenty of time to explore and sniff. For cats, I'll spend time playing with their favourite toys, using interactive games, and giving them attention and affection at their own pace.
