Hello, my name is Emily. My mom and I began dog walks and drop ins when we moved to IL in 2019. Many times I came along and helped until I turned 18 and began taking on my own walks. My mom, Caryn, is now a full time ICU nurse and has turned over this account to me. With that said, she will still monitor the account and will sometimes accompany me when she is able. I have been taking walks and drops ins by myself since Spring 2024. I am 19 years old and currently a freshman at JJC. I have experience with big and small dogs as well as cats. In addition, I have experience walking two dogs at once. A previous client had 2 German shepherds that I walked weekly throughout the fall and winter. One of which was an untrained puppy. We have a German shepherd at home named Lady and a 13 yo Yorkie. Most of my clients are repeat and I currently walk a GSD (80lbs) twice a week since last spring. Last fall I took care of 6 special needs dogs alongside my sister, Brianna. We did this 5 nights a week, every other week, for several months. 3 needed diaper changes and one was in a wheelchair. I do have experience giving pills if needed. With all of my clients I request that a meet and greet is set up prior to booking. This allows me to meet your pup and to make sure we are a good fit. I can then answer all the questions you may have and discuss any final details.
