If a pup needed to be picked up and dropped back off at a certain time, I could accommodate this by keeping them a fully fenced-in backyard. In terms of walking environment, I would generally walk a pup on a paved trail with lots of open, natural space on either side.

I would like to know the general energy levels and pace of your dog to plan a walking route accordingly. If your pup is extra sensitive to the surface they walk on (dirt, pavement, grass), please let me know.
A typical day
There are great walking routes all around me with multiple large parks and paved trails surrounded by open space! I would try to go on a variety of routes from walk to walk to explore all the smells around the neighborhood.

Pet care experience
In the past, I have had experience with dog-sitting and walking! I generally walk dogs that are small to medium size and average around 1 mile. Having a puppy of my own, your dog’s safety is of utmost importance to me.

Helena is thoughtful, caring, and intuitive every time she watches our dog, Apollo. Even after months of not seeing her, he's always excited to greet her. I'm confident she cares for him as we would and that he is in great hands when in her care!
Our dog Percy absolutely LOVES Helena and her family, including her dog Luey. Throughout Percy’s puppyhood, Helena helped watch over him when we couldn’t and developed a real bond with him, Percy adopting nicknames like Jam Jam, and wrestling tirelessly to get his puppy energy out. Helena has a true care for dogs put in her care and treats them like a member of her family. Even now, Percy is excited whenever he sees Helena and thinks of her as a second owner. Being a dogsitter myself, she really exemplifies the care and attention dog owners look for. I absolutely recommend Helena for taking care of your dog as she pays so much attention and develops a friendship with them over the course of her time with your pet.
