I have been a dog owner and lover for over 30 years. Over the years, I have had canine family members of all sizes, from small (my Shih-Tzu, Butterscotch) to large (my Rottweiler, Cain). I am well versed in administering meds (up to and including shots/sub q fluids), grooming, following dog cues, and more.

Coco had the best week with Caryn and her daughters. This was a last minute scheduling due to my mom who hurt her leg. This was a great find and will be sure to use her in the future!! Thank you for making Coco feel at home :) Your daughters are so sweet!

Caryn and her family were wonderful! She kept me in the loop the whole time, and when we had an unexpected early return, she was able to pivot without any issues. Most importantly, Val came back happy and loved! :-) We would definitely use her again for our next trip.
Caryn and her family cared for my 11 year old dog and it was a great experience. She regularly sent photos and updates on how Missy was doing which helped put my mind at ease. It looked like Missy was having so much fun with Caryn's dog and her kids that I thought she wouldn't want to come home with me! Missy was "one of the pack" while in their home and I'm thankful that we found our new sitter. We will definitely use Caryn's services again if the need arises.

We do have children in the house. They are used to being around dogs as they have never known life without one or two in their lives. Please let me know if your dog has ever been around children before and if they are comfortable with them.
A typical day
We love to take walks around the neighborhood as the pups always enjoy sniffing out new scents. We have an acre of land so there's lots of space to play fetch with frisbee toys and balls (while on a 30ft lead). Rest assured that your pet will be able to receive plenty of exercise (depending on pets ability of course - we will discuss your individual pet's needs). In addition, we have plenty of indoor mental stimulation via puzzle feeders and snuffle mats - oh, and there is always someone up for a game of 'hide and seek' with our 4-legged friends.

Availability
We are a home-based, homeschooling family so someone is home almost all of the time. I am extremely flexible and will do my best to seamlessly incorporate your fur baby as a temporary member of our family while keeping them on a routine that you find works best for them.
