Love dogs and exercise
Despite taking care of my neighbors pets from time to time in my youth, I think that my strongest asset as someone who can be trusted to take care of your pets is my genuine love for animals, especially dogs. I have had three family dogs throughout my lifetime, my parents started boarding Rover dogs four years ago to keep our dogs company and because we are very much a dog family. Most of my experience with elderly and disabled pets comes from the slow decline of our late black lab Lady, who had severe health complications in old age. Her infrequent and random seizures taught me that old dogs need attention, care and love in their fragile state. Inadvertently I am keen to changes in how a pet is acting and finding the source. Overall I would consider myself to be very proficient at handling pets.

I will shower your pet with love but without overstepping boundaries or relinquishing my ability to take care of/have control on them. Furthermore, I am a very active person who loves taking my own dog for walks even though she is more into cuddles. I LOVE playing with dogs and will make sure they are well taken care of in every sense.

Amazing sitter. Carter stayed with our dog for 6 days and he is so happy. Our house was taken care of and my dog is happy and safe. Absolutely no complaints. He kept in touch and provided photos daily. Highly recommend. Thank you so much, Carter.
Carter was wonderful with our two dogs. What an attentive sitter! He took them on walks, played with them, and made sure they were happy pups, while we were out of town. On top of that, he left our house sparkling clean. We would love to book with him again in the future. Thanks for taking such great care of Sadie and Milo, Carter!
We would leave 6 stars if we could! Carter was absolutely incredible with our dogs and went above and beyond in every way. He helped water plants, spoiled our pups with walks and hikes, kept us up to date regularly and even cleaned the sheets. Our only problem is that he won’t be around all year round!
Carter was such an amazing house/dog/cat sitter for us! Our home and our boys were well-cared for in our absence!

Schedule
I am currently home for the summer from Fort Lewis college and am available frequently. Furthermore when I am back in Durango I am able to dog sit anytime I do not have class or work.
