I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners.

My dog Scarlett has a hard time being left at kennels and being around other dogs scares her sometimes. She felt very comfortable around Mindy and Carter when she spent a week with them and gave us piece of mind also. She also looked to love their big yard too.
We knew they were a good fit from our first meeting. Carter and Mindy treated JJ as their own! They gave us pictures and reports of his stay. He obviously was happy to be with them. We will not hesitate to call on them again!
Sansa stayed with Carter & Mindy for 20 days and was extremely well taken care of, it was clear she felt comfortable and loved. We are very grateful for all the care and attention, and we will definitely bring her back again whenever we need to. Highly recommend!

Or dogs were totally spoiled during their stay with Mindy and Carter! I think they will look forward to returning everytime! We were so relieved to know they were safe with true dog lovers! They were very happy and playful when we picked them up!

Schedule
Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!
A typical day
We wake up early in the morning every day and would feed your dog and then let them go outside. Then if the weather permits a lot of outside time during the day when Mindy goes outside to care for her garden your animal will be allowed to run as much as they want and play with the toys that we have provided!
