🐾 About Me — Carter, Pinky & Bosco Hi, I’m Carter — a lifelong dog lover and former Rover Preferred Sitter with over 50 five-star reviews. After taking a two-year break to pursue photography and videography full-time, I’m thrilled to be back doing what I love most: providing dogs with care, comfort, and joy while their humans are away. I’m proud to say that during my years with Rover, I’ve never had a single serious incident — something I credit to being selective with the dogs I host and always prioritizing safety, harmony, and positive experiences for every pup. My dogs, Pinky (4) and Bosco (5), are social, balanced, and friendly with dogs of all sizes and ages. Together, we make every stay feel like your pet’s own vacation — complete with hourly potty breaks, structured walks, and playtime in our secure yard. Once everyone’s comfortable and recall is proven, we often visit local dog parks too! I’m deeply passionate about positive reinforcement and force-free training, and I’m constantly learning new ways to improve communication and care. I truly believe that our dogs see us as their whole world — and when they’re away from us, it can be stressful. That’s why my mission is to create a home away from home where your dog feels safe, loved, and excited to return. As a professional photographer, you’ll also get beautiful photos of your happy pup throughout their stay — candid moments that capture their personality and joy. I’m even starting to do pet product reviews, so your furry friend might just end up a little bit famous! 🐶📸 I know my rates may be higher than some, but this allows me to take on fewer dogs, give each guest more attention, and maintain a calm, personalized environment.and provide you with extremely high quality photos and prints the value of which is priceless. Only got to meet and greet with carter because for reasons that can’t be controlled I had to cancel however carter was super nice and his two dogs were so well behaved and nice with my dog I would recommend carter if your looking for someone that will take good care of your pooch and have fun all day !!!! I will book with carter in the future

🐾 Schedule – How Pet Care Fits Into My Routine I work full-time from home as a photographer and videographer, which gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of quality time with the dogs in my care. My days are structured around their needs — with morning walks, hourly potty breaks, and playtime or training sessions between editing projects. Since I’m home most of the day, your pup is never left alone for long. Evenings usually include a relaxed walk or a trip to the dog park (for dogs with proven recall) before settling in for cuddles and downtime. Weekends are similar, often with extra outdoor adventures or photo sessions for fun. Your dog’s comfort and routine come first — I make sure every guest feels right at home and fully included in the rhythm of my day.

🏡 Safety, Trust & Environment Safety and trust are the foundation of everything I do. I’ve cared for hundreds of dogs through Rover with zero serious incidents, and that’s because I’m selective about who joins the pack and I always take the time to ensure each dog is a good fit. In my home, dogs are treated like family — never crated unless requested, always supervised, and given plenty of freedom to explore, play, and relax in a safe, fully enclosed yard. I maintain clear boundaries and structure to keep everyone calm and balanced, and I use positive reinforcement and force-free training methods at all times. Every dog’s comfort level and personality are respected. I do slow introductions with my dogs, Pinky and Bosco, to make sure everyone feels safe before any group play. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain clean, calm, and consistent routines, always watching for signs of stress or fatigue, and ensuring that every guest feels secure, loved, and understood.

🌞 Describe a Typical Day A typical day in my care is built around structure, enrichment, and fun. Mornings start with a calm walk to stretch, sniff, and set the tone for the day. After breakfast, we usually enjoy some yard time or light training sessions using positive reinforcement — great for mental stimulation and bonding. Throughout the day, I schedule hourly potty breaks, play sessions, and rest periods to match each dog’s energy level. Depending on the dog’s comfort and recall, we might head out for neighborhood walks, river valley trails, or visits to the dog park for a good social run. As a photographer, I love capturing each dog’s personality, so expect a few adorable photo updates of your pup looking their happiest. 📸 Evenings are about winding down — a relaxed walk, some cuddle time, and maybe a chew or puzzle toy before bed. My goal is to make every day feel like a mini vacation for your dog — full of love, laughter, and adventure at a pace that suits them best. 🐾
