Hi! My name is Carson. I know how stressful it can be to find the right person to care for your pup, and I want to make that easier for you. I hope to make this process as smooth as possible so you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your baby. I’ve always been obsessed with dogs, truly, since the day we brought home my first puppy when I was 4 years old. Most recently, I had the joy of sharing my life with my rescue Pittie, Matteo, for 7 years. He unexpectedly passed away in October, and that loss, although absolutely heartbreaking, has inspired me to offer love and care for other pups. I have experience with senior dogs who need some extra love and patience, playful puppies who need guidance, and anxious pups who need space and compassion. I will do everything I can to make them feel happy, safe, and cared for. I love taking dogs on walks, exploring local parks, or just enjoying some downtime at home. I’m flexible and will make sure your dog’s time with me feels like a little vacation—whether they need lots of playtime or just a cozy spot to relax. I can’t wait to meet and love on all your pups!!

Schedule
I am currently working part-time and a student. I am home majority of the time. I work 4-5 hours at night Tuesday-Friday but my work is 10 minutes away and have the flexibility to attend to the pups if needed!

Safety, trust & environment
I live on the first floor of an apartment building and have plenty of comfortable space for pups to hang around. I have a large grassy area right outside that my pup used to love, so that is for potty breaks. I have a large park a few blocks away and a public garden trail that is lovely to stroll through. At home I have a bunch of windows, if they like to watch the outside world. I have an office with a gate, or if your pup has a kennel, to keep them safe and separate from the other rooms while I am out. Each room has a door to keep shut if they have a bit of separation anxiety. I am open to all routines for home stays!
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation every day is the priority for all dogs in my care. My previous dog Matteo was extremely anxious and needed a lot of attention and activities to keep him calm. I have a never ending list of activities I would do to stimulate his brain every day! Walks, hikes, lick mats, games, laser pointer, learning new tricks, etc. He was a Pittie and they are big cuddle bugs so a lot of our time was spent resting and cuddling too. I love trying new things, if your pup has a specific activity that they enjoy.
