I work from home so I have flexibility that many don't. I take our dogs out in the morning when I get up and then any time I leave the house and when I return. They get an evening walk and another before bed. They are okay being indoors for up to eight hours (full work day) so it will be easy for me to step away to help take care of your pets!

A typical day
I love playing with the pets I watch, whether it be fetch with dogs or a string toy with a cat! Long walks with dogs are my favorite. They get a lot of stimulation and enrichment from that. One of my favorite enrichment activities to do with my dogs is an easter egg hunt! I put small pieces of dog treats in the eggs and place them around. They love it! I also have an enrichment mat/towel to hide pieces of food in and let them work to get it out. I would be more than happy to come up with games for the pets I watch!

Pet care experience
I have three dogs of my own that are spoiled rotten. I make sure to give them a certain # of walks and play time each day, not to mention tricks and treats as well! We go on long walks around our neighborhood and we love visiting the dog park and going for ride in the car! I have trained all of my dogs a number of tricks and had our oldest male was potty trained in two weeks using a bell on the door. They’re well behaved and receive so much love. I can handle walking them all three of them even with other dogs around and I’m good at making other dogs feel comfortable around me. I love meeting new dogs as well :)

Carson is so great! This is my first time using Rover so I didn’t know what to expect but Carson went above and beyond. We had a meet and greet the day before. Then I booked her for one day, but decided to book for the rest of the week after the first day. She did everything I asked of her from giving treats to refilling water. My dog seemed to love her by the photos she sent throughout the walks and I will definitely be rebooking in the future!
Carson is definitely an animal lover (she is really good with people too). She is a very sweet, and very patient. She works well with animals and taught her own dogs many tricks and commands at early ages. Carson has cared for my dog for a week while I recovered from surgery. Nikki (my dog) loves her and is very excited to see her each time. Carson is 100% responsible and dependable. I know that any fur baby would be loved, and very well cared for with Carson.
I’ve known Carson personally for over 7 years. She is the most attentive, responsible, loving, and caring person I’ve ever met. I really couldn’t think of a better person to trust my fur babies with, and I have many times in the past. You can rest assured that she’ll be on top of their schedules, mindful of any restrictions or allergies, and give them all the attention they need and more!
