Pet care experience
Pet enthusiast
I’m a huge lover of pets. I am very experienced with dogs who are reactive or have anxiety or other behavioral themes. I’m a strong believer in positive reinforcement and giving pets all the care and attention they deserve. As someone who has owned a reactive dog, I love helping them feel safer on their walks or adapting to new routines. I’d love to know any preferences you or your pet have for what they like and don’t like so I can give them the best care and help provide structured routines for them to reduce the overall stress they might experience. I recognize that sometimes adding new people to pets routines can be frightening and am very patient and able to give your pet whatever it needs.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Carson was very sweet to my shy kitty! She’s not a social gal but Carson went out of her way to make sure she laid eyes on her each day I was away, which is very much appreciated. Thank you Carson!

Carson is someone I've trusted as a go-to sitter for my two cats, Millie and Mabel, for the past few years. My cats are pretty anxious around people, but Carson has always been incredibly patient with them, and I trust her to care for them as if they were her own. She also has two of her own dogs and I've witnessed firsthand the amount of care she puts into their training and how loving she is towards them. She is a wonderful person and someone I will always recommend to others for petsitting.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work from home frequently so I can make myself available when needed to go on walks or do drop in visits. I'm happy to do morning, afternoon, or early evening walks or drop ins.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I tailor my approach based off of each pet's needs and how they respond to me. If they're slower to warm up, I take my time letting them get used to me and respect their boundaries as much as possible. I try to follow their routines as much as possible to keep them comfortable and as stress free as possible.
Pets
A typical day
Happy to do drop in visits and greet your pet (if they enjoy direct greetings) before spending some quality time with them, taking care of their feeding and potty needs, engage in any enrichment activities, and send picture updates.
