I don't have many plans for this summer so I am looking for some extra dogs to walk and other animals to play with and I will have most of the day free, to do so. If I am doing an overnight stay, I will be at the client's house most, if not the whole time I would normally be at mine (i.e. anytime I plan to be home). My schedule is pretty flexible and I do my best to make your pets the priority of my schedule.

I do drop ins and overnight stays. Normally drop-ins consist of 2-3 visits a day where I feed and walk or let the pets out, depending on the owner's preference for their pet's routine. During an overnight stay, I sleep at the owners house (more mentioned in my schedule) and care for the pets there. I also do dog walking. However, I do not provide pet sitting in my own home because I have my own pets.

Information Carson C. would like to know about your pet
I send out all my clients a fillable form with all my relevant questions including information about any special needs pets, medical conditions, etc. Please remember to answer all these "extra" questions and the more details is appreciated! My priority is to keep your fur babies safe, comfortable, and happy! :)
A typical day
Other than typical in-home play with your pets and their toys, I love to take dogs for walks, to parks, car rides, and to swimming holes! I only do any of these things with owner's permission prior and after consulting with the dog(s) in the presence of the owners, to ensure all safety precautions and protocols are upheld at all times.

Vet student looking for summer work
Pet care experience
First year veterinary student seeking summer work. Have owned a pet sitting and dog walking business since I was 14 years old. Experience caring for many animals including difficult and friendly cats, all sizes of dogs, and common exotics. Additionally, I volunteered with dogs and occasionally cats, at the SW Humane Society, and I volunteered at the Oregon Zoo's family farm. Since, then I have worked at East Padden Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician Assistant, worked as an Animal Care Tech at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and went on a veterinary outreach trip in Cusco, Peru where I traveled with a WSU group to provide free veterinary medicine clinics to the underserved surrounding communities. Lastly, I spent a few months working on a sheep and goat farm in Ellensburg, WA and was on the WSU Equestrian Competitive Team for four years. I also grew up with many pets and spent a lot of my childhood also caring for and training my neighbors and friend's pets. I have a lot of experience and exposure to all types of animals, of any size. I own two cats currently and with the weather getting nicer I am looking for lots of dogs to walk since I don't currently have the time to care for my own. So hire me to watch and walk your sweet precious babies!!!
Reviews

My pups had a great time with Carson when she house sat for me! She was very responsive, respectful of my home and let me know when my pups allergies started acting up and addressed it appropriately.

Carson did a fabulous job! She took my dog on fun adventures during just the short weekend she was with him and she did great with his meds. Would love to book again!
Carson has walked our little 10lb Pekingese "Manny" many times around our neighborhood when we were away. She sat with him several times, and even took him into her home when we're gone for the weekend. He loves her and doesn't like every many people ;-) Carson is very knowledgable about many aspects of pet care and we are happy to refer her to all our friends and family. We are certain she will do a good job for you too!
Carson is great with pets! She cared for our dog and cat when we went out of town. Always dependable, pets loved her, even my timid puppy. Carson is also a very nice person, I met her while she was in high school and she has grown to be an amazing person.
