Pet care experience

Loving pet sitter, very flexible

Growing up I always wanted to be a vet but wasn’t good at science. I always had a passion and special love for animals. I’ve worked with many cats & dogs and even took some psychology / training courses on the animals. It am very good at understanding each animal as an individual. Dogs have certain similar traits but not every dog is the same regardless if they are the same breed. It takes a special someone to truly understand the psychology of each dog and why they behave the way they do. Specialize in dogs with separation anxiety and reactivity.

Boarding • Jun 03, 2024

Poe thoroughly enjoyed his first visit with Carissa. Lots of walks and family activity kept him calm which is a very good thing for a dog with some separation anxiety. He was happy and tired the day he returned home. Carissa was also great T keeping us informed both with fun photos/video of his visit, but also taking care to double-check medications, feeding etc throughout the stay. We are very happy with Carissa.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

This is my full time gig. I am very flexible with whenever you need me to take care of your pets. I can watch your cats or dogs in the comfort of your own home or board them at mine as we have a separate unit in our house in which we can board your dogs or cats and a large fenced in back yard for your dogs to run and play.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I can provide immaculate care for your pets in the comfort of your own home or take them for long walks or swimming. I can also give them mental stimulation as this is very important for their minds.

Pets

A typical day

I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically as dogs typically need more mental stimulation than anything. I will go on hikes, walks and even take them swimming and work on certain behavioural issues with them.
