I’m a lifelong animal lover who dreams of opening an animal shelter one day. I began dog-sitting at 15 years old and have been regularly caring for dogs ever since. I have experience with puppies as young as six months, as well as senior dogs. I also spent a month volunteering at a dog shelter in Italy, and my own dog is a rescue. Because of this, I’m familiar with a wide range of behaviours and am confident caring for dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or understanding. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I care for every dog as if they were my own.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I’m attentive to safety, including secure doors, leashes, and household hazards. I respect my clients’ homes and provide regular updates so pet owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

Carrie stayed with our dog for a week and it was our first time leaving him for a week. She made us feel so comfortable and that he would be in good hands. She took excellent care of him with lots of walks and love. She was easy to get in contact with and always stayed in communication. She left our house just as clean as when we left. I would recommend her to anyone!!
We had such a wonderful experience with Carrie! From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and made us feel completely at ease leaving both our pets and our home in her care. She kept us updated daily with messages and photos, which really helped us relax while we were away. It was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared for our cats and dogs were. She also handled an unexpected situation like an absolute pro when our dog had a bit of a squirrel incident (😅). She managed everything calmly and responsibly, which we really appreciated. Overall, she went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!
Carrie took care of our 6-month-old puppy for over two weeks while we were travelling during the holiday break. At that age, our puppy was very wild and rambunctious, but Carrie’s calm, experienced approach helped her bond quickly with him. He responded incredibly well to her and was clearly comfortable and happy in her care. Carrie is reliable, knowledgeable about dogs, and has a special ability to connect with them. We felt completely at ease knowing our puppy was in such excellent hands. We would wholeheartedly recommend Carrie to any dog owner looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter or dog walker.
Carrie cared for our cat over two weeks this past summer. She did a fantastic job! Carrie was so intentional and diligent in feeding her at the right times, playing with her, dealing with her litter box, and making sure she was safe. Our cat was clearly in good hands! We also appreciated how Carrie communicated with us regularly while we were away, and her joyful spirit!
Carrie has been wonderful with our two dogs when she has cared for them. They are big dorky Labs and she managed their playful energy beautifully when taking them for walks and looking after them in our home. Carrie is a responsible and trustworthy young woman who loves animals, and I would recommend her to anyone for their pets!

Schedule
I am currently completing my undergraduate degree through an online university, which makes my schedule very flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends with the exceptions of Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
