It’s also helpful to understand their personality, energy level, likes and dislikes, and any behavioural quirks or triggers. For dogs, I appreciate knowing leash habits and reactivity; for cats, their comfort level with people and handling. Emergency contact information and vet details are also important to ensure the best care.
A typical day
engage pets with walks, playtime, enrichment games, and plenty of affection, always tailored to their age and energy level. I love long walks, so exploring nearby parks or trails is something both dogs and I truly enjoy.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover who dreams of opening an animal shelter one day. I began dog-sitting at 15 years old and have been regularly caring for dogs ever since. I have experience with puppies as young as six months, as well as senior dogs. I also spent a month volunteering at a dog shelter in Italy, and my own dog is a rescue. Because of this, I’m familiar with a wide range of behaviours and am confident caring for dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or understanding. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I care for every dog as if they were my own.

Carrie stayed with our dog for a week and it was our first time leaving him for a week. She made us feel so comfortable and that he would be in good hands. She took excellent care of him with lots of walks and love. She was easy to get in contact with and always stayed in communication. She left our house just as clean as when we left. We had such a wonderful experience with Carrie! From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and made us feel completely at ease leaving both our pets and our home in her care. She kept us updated daily with messages and photos, which really helped us relax while we were away. It was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared for our cats and dogs were. She also handled an unexpected situation like an absolute pro when our dog had a bit of a squirrel incident (😅). She managed everything calmly and responsibly, which we really appreciated. Overall, she went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!
Carrie took care of our 6-month-old puppy for over two weeks while we were travelling during the holiday break. At that age, our puppy was very wild and rambunctious, but Carrie’s calm, experienced approach helped her bond quickly with him. He responded incredibly well to her and was clearly comfortable and happy in her care. Carrie is reliable, knowledgeable about dogs, and has a special ability to connect with them. We felt completely at ease knowing our puppy was in such excellent hands. We would wholeheartedly recommend Carrie to any dog owner looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter or dog walker.
Carrie cared for our cat over two weeks this past summer. She did a fantastic job! Carrie was so intentional and diligent in feeding her at the right times, playing with her, dealing with her litter box, and making sure she was safe. Our cat was clearly in good hands!
