Our pets are family!
I have 12 years of combined experience as a volunteer dog caretaker, as well as a former staff member, at a local non-profit animal shelter. My work with the shelter has allowed me to provide care for many animals and help match them with the best adopters. I am also Fear Free certified and understand the importance of helping animals feel at ease. Most of all, as a dog mom myself, I understand the need for a reliable, punctual, and kind caregiver for all of our pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow instructions given by my client in regards to the care of their pet in their home. When walking dogs, the appropriate harness and leash will always be used and care will be taken to ensure the dog's comfort and safety at all times. I believe that it is very important for dogs to be given the time stop and sniff at their leisure and not be rushed, as the walk is for their enrichment and enjoyment.

As a former adoption counselor for CHA Animal Shelter her dedication to/for finding the right homes for dogs and cats has been heart warming. The family has had shelter dogs and they have lived their best lives. Carrie still volunteers at CHA each week. She is dependable and hard working! You would be well served having her in your employ!! She’s a true gem!

Schedule
I am currently volunteering at my local animal shelter and caring for my own senior dog Cuddles at home. Most of my days are free and I am hoping to provide pet services as a part time job.
