I've been an active dogsitter for nearly 15 years in the DC metro area. Specializing in older pets w/ health needs. My family has had dogs my entire life, so I have about 4 decades worth of experience with dogs. Since I don't have a dog of my own (despite being my parents' dog preferred human), I will treat yours like family.

I had an extended vacation and my regular sitter had a conflict. Carrie to the rescue. From first meet and greet to my return from the trip Carrie made me feel that my boys would be in good hands and the certainly were. She kept in contact throughout my trip and kept me up to date. If I'm ever in need again I won't hesitate to ask her to come back.
Carrie could not have been better with Amos. She went out of her way and above and beyond what most dog watchers will do. We could not have been more pleased and look forward to having her watch Amos in the future!
Carrie is a great and caring dog sitter. I actually love going away knowing that all three of my dogs are getting the love and attention that they need. She's punctual, responsive, loving and quick to answer all those mama texts.
Carrie is the best!!! I think the dogs were sad when we came home. She was great with the boys and made sure they had fun during "their" vacation by snuggling and playing fetch. Carrie sent tons of updates and made sure anytime we missed the boys we saw an update to let us be worry free. The boys can't wait until we go away on vacation again!
Carrie was fantastic! Super responsive and responsible. Great with the animals always providing frequent updates while we were away. Will definitely make use of her services again!
Carrie is great with our dog; he really enjoys her visits and doesn't seem to miss us at all!

Schedule
I'm a huge dog lover! I currently live in a house with 2 King Charles and 1 cat (acts like a dog). We have a fenced in backyard and for smaller dogs, a doggie door. For over a decade, I've been a trusted dogsitter for a handful of dogs in Washington, DC- references available upon request! Additionally, I have fostered three dogs from Laila's Legacy- 2 pitties and 1 Doberman. As a volunteer, I drove dogs to Adoption Events, served as a Handler, and helped bring pups to vet appointments. All dogs are great, especially the ones who like to snuggle.

I've recently moved to New Jersey and am currently seeking full time employment. Until then, if your dog is okay with other animals, they can come stay with me or I'd be happy to dogsit in your home.
A typical day
We'll go on walks. If the weather is nice, and they are swimmers, we can go to the Bay. I have a fenced in backyard and we can play fetch back there as well.
