I do my best work with well-socialized, easygoing adult dogs, and I'm not taking on puppy clients at this time, since we also have two dogs of our own at home. I'm happy to follow specific routines, administer medication, and keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos. For the past two years, my dog Ranger, also my animal therapy partner, and I have worked as housesitters, caring for dogs and cats in their own homes. Ranger's calm, steady presence puts other animals at ease quickly, and together we've built a comfortable rhythm around all kinds of pets and personalities. I prioritize consistency and comfort by sticking to your dog's usual schedule for feeding, walks, and rest. My preference is to board your dog in my own home, where they can enjoy a calm, stable environment alongside our own well-socialized dogs and Ranger's steady presence, though I'm happy to discuss house-sitting at your home depending on the fit. As a longtime yoga and animal therapist, I've seen firsthand how much gentle, mindful care can support an animal's emotional and physical well-being, whether they're recovering from something difficult or just need comfort and companionship. I also spent 17 years caring for my beloved cat, Angel, including being by her side at the end of her life, an experience that deepened my understanding of the trust, patience, and love that caring for an animal truly requires.
