For this summer I am only focusing on my online college courses, so I have an empty schedule that I am hoping to fill with meeting dogs.

I approach dogs gently, and let them set the tone for our meeting. If the dog does not want me to pet them, I will only do what I need to so that I can take them on a walk. If a dog is energetic, I will play with them in the backyard or a large area. I also am good at following directions and will enjoy completing the directions the owner has left.

I have loved dogs since I was old enough to learn what they are. I have been around dogs since I was a kid. I helped my parents raise a puppy for my grandmother when I was younger. During COVID I spent my time raising my family dog. During my adult life I have volunteered at the Aggieland Humane Society and enjoyed my time there. I love meeting new dogs, taking care of animals and helping people with their pets.

Carrie is the kindest, most patient person I have ever seen with animals. She understands their body language and respects them. She knows how to keep dogs safe, by being attentive to the environment, having a vast knowledge of foods that are unsafe, and years of research about canine behavior.
