I've been providing animal care in Bastrop County for over fifteen years. I regularly care for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and fish. I have several years of experience with geriatric dogs who have problems which include visual impairments, hearing loss, and seizures. I can administer medicine in liquid or pill form. I have also cared for both puppies and pregnant dogs. I enjoy lengthy walks, and am happy to help your dog help me get my exercise. Time spent with animals is one of my favorite parts of the day. I try to make it just as enjoyable for the animals.

Safety, trust & environment
I will keep cats indoors, unless specifically informed that they should go out. Dogs are on leash when outside of a secure enclosure, and I don't let them off leash in a dog park unless requested. On walks, I make sure to pay attention to signs of overheating or problems with pads to avoid weather related injury or illness.

Carrie was able to come on a super last minute notice to help feed the cats a family member of mine who was in the hospital. She was so sweet and accommodating and made our family feel so calm amidst a chaotic situation. She even went back to the house to take pictures of the cats to give us peace of mind. Would highly recommend her to anyone in the Bastrop area!

Carrie Elizabeth is such a perfect match for our dog, Tucker. He doesn’t trust everyone and he’s getting older but she’s patient with him and makes us feel great when she’s watching him. She’s quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

Schedule
I am currently booked from 9-12:30 M-Th. I am routinely available in the earlier morning and in the afternoon and evening on those days. I am widely available on Fri, Sat, and Sun. I am willing to do visits as late as 10 pm any day. I'm generally flexible, and can often move things around. I like to work with people as much as possible.
