About Carrie C.

Safety, trust & environment

I’m my own home, I take my own dog for multiple walks throughout one neighborhood throughout the day. Due to being unable to board or do overnights in clients homes, depending on your environment, I would love to spend time outdoors with the animals, whether a it’s for playing fetch in the yard, walks in the neighborhood, relaxing in the sun with our feline friends, or just dropping in for some one-on-one time.

Information Carrie C. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences -- just prefer not to be around dogs that have a 'bite history' and dogs MUST be UTD on vaccines, specifically rabies.

A typical day

When it comes to fun, I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and needs. At my house, cuddles are always on the schedule—there’s nothing better than snuggling up with a happy pup or content kitty. I also focus on positive enrichment through play, using gentle, reward-based encouragement. In the warmer months, we enjoy yard time with games like fetch and even some fun water play for pups who like to splash! On sunny days, we might explore the park and take in all the sights and smells. And when it’s rainy or chilly? We wind down with calming ASMR sounds, cozy naps, and maybe even some homemade treats. I believe every pet deserves joy, comfort, and a little adventure!

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Carrie! Animals have been the heart of my world for as long as I can remember. With over 13 years of hands-on experience in animal care—including 3 years working in a shelter and 10 years in veterinary clinics as a receptionist, kennel worker, and manager—you can trust that your pets are in capable and compassionate hands. I share my life with a lovable pitbull who is my whole heart, so I understand just how much our furry companions mean to us. Whether it's drop-in visits, older pup care, or just good old-fashioned playtime shenanigans, I’m here to make your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I do use a mobility aid for walking, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit when it comes to cuddles, belly rubs, or tail-wagging adventures. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet your four-legged best friend!
