Hi, I’m Carrie! 🐾 Animals have always been at the heart of my life. For over 2 years I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That hands-on experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of treating every pet like family. Currently, I’m home full-time caring for my sweet senior dog, Sophia (15 years old, living with Cushing’s Disease). Making sure she is comfortable and loved has given me an even deeper appreciation for the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. Because I’m at home, I can dedicate all the time and attention your dog deserves. Here’s what you can expect when your pet stays with me: Lots of love & attention – every pet is treated like my own family. No crating (unless required by you or for very brief times when I must step out). Safe, comfortable environment tailored to your pet’s needs. Experience with senior and special-needs dogs who may require extra patience and care. Regular updates & photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks, snuggles on the couch, or simply a calm and caring presence, I’m here to provide the same quality of care I give my own beloved Sophia. Your pup’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. ❤️

Zuko is happy and healthy after a long weekend with Carrie - she sent lots of pictures of him and he came back with everything I sent him with.
Carrie was great at communicating. I loved the pictures she sent every day updating us on how our dog was doing. I am also really happy that Remus was so comfortable with her and her resident dogs.
Carrie is awesome. Max loves visiting and she and her family treat him like one of their own. He always comes home happy and pooped!!☺️ It is so nice to not worry when we have to leave him. We know he's safe and having a great time!
Carrie was so incredibly accommodating my pup and our last minute booking request! She was able to fit in a meet & greet and kept me updated the entire time I was away. Will absolutely be using Carrie again!
Carrie took great care of our pups over the winter break. She kept me updated with pictures everyday.

Harmonogram
I'm currently out of work to care for my senior girl, Sophia, that has had some complications with Cushing's Disease. Your pet will be under my full-time loving care at my home, or in your home. I offer both services. Your pet will only be crated when I need to step out momentarily.

In my home, pets are part of the family! 🐾 I have a fully fenced one-acre yard where they can safely run and play, and when the weather’s nice, we’ll spend lots of time outside together. Indoors, your pup will be right by my side, whether that’s hanging out in the kitchen watching me cook or relaxing nearby. I don’t crate unless you request it or for brief times when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick to their routine and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and love so they feel safe and comfortable until you’re back.

We will spend a lot of time outside, weather permitting, checking out all the interesting smells in the yard. If we're inside we will all be together, hanging out, cuddling on the couch or watching me cook in the kitchen. We have our lower garage setup for some fun zoomies or fetch. We often do games a couple times a day.
