I am a dependable professional, and a mother of 2 school aged children. My husband Bradford and I supervise the doggies together, for a safe environment. We will treat your pet with the care they are accustomed to and love them like our own. Our sweet older dog Ezri, passed in 2016, but we continue to have dogs from families regularly to keep your dog company and provide social interaction, like a fun vacation for your pup while you are away. We love to take pictures of your pet to keep you informed, and show you how much fun they are having. I have had dogs throughout my life, both my families', and my own, and for the last four years we have professionally boarded pups in our home, gone on walks, and house visits. We are available holidays and recommend advance notice, since space in our home is limited, but we are available on short notice most non holiday weeks of the year. Please message us if you have last minute plans come up, we often have availability within a weeks notice and we sometimes have space open up if folks plan's change. We try to accommodate return doggies on short notice if it comes up, as much as possible, and we encouraged meet and greet for new families. My husband Bradford is home to watch the dogs with me and we switch off with our kids, to make sure there is always doggy supervision. I do walks and visits while he supervises at home. I have a larger than average patio terrace filled with durable plants and nice shade for a quick potty and fresh air, and nice cedar filled dog pillows inside at my home. Many doggies bring their own beds also. We take the dogs on leash to walk in the nice grassy areas around and in front of my home, and around grassy pathways at the center of my townhouse community, where we own our home. Doggies have a great time following us around the kitchen and living area, lounging in the living room, and socializing with us and the other dogs. I like to have everyone in the community space, truly a home environment for the dogs. We can administer medicine and go on slow leisurely strolls for your senior pet. Let us know what your dogs likes and dislikes are, our goal is to make every dog comfortable and "at home". We have a station wagon that allows us to take your pet on a field trip, to walk in wide outdoor spaces such as the lagoon area, state park access points or perhaps a place you like! I also like to walk around my neighborhood to Veterans Park nearby. We have experience lifting large dogs and providing for convalescent dogs as well. I really appreciate all the nice doggies and families that I have met with rover. Dogs are such a joy! I have lots of experience raising and training my own dogs, As well as lots of experience taking care of family pets, and 4 years experience boarding professionally and providing walks and house visits. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover since I could walk. I grew up around dogs, and I have always had a dog. Meet my pets: Our 13 year old pup passed in 2013 and our 2nd sweet 15 year old pup passed in 2016. We have been considering what type of dog to add to our home boarding environment. We currently have 1-4 doggies staying most days of the year, so there are usually always other pups in our home. About my yard: I have a fenced in patio area, with ground cover, pebbles, and plants. And a few small trees. It is larger than a typical townhome patio. And we have nature surrounding the area and a large grass lawn in front, away from the road. My home is a townhouse, that I own, Very secure, very shady. i have pathways and large cut grass lawns in the front, plenty of space in our community to walk on paths without the danger of cars. I have experience administering vitamins and oral medications, and injected insulin for diabetic pups
