Pet care experience
Comfort, Care & Cuddles for Every Pet!!
Animals have always been a central part of my life. From childhood to now, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and horses. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their unique needs and personalities, and I take pride in providing reliable, compassionate care. Dogs are especially close to my heart. I share my life with two beautiful French Bulldogs who bring so much joy, laughter, and love into my home. That bond helps me connect naturally with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Cats also hold a special place in my heart. I have a lot of experience caring for them at all life stages and am currently expanding my training to better support senior cats. This includes helping with mobility, monitoring their health, and making sure they’re comfortable and content as they age. For longer distances, I use public transport, taxis, or a mobility scooter when needed. These are just practical ways to reach my clients while I work toward passing my driving test. None of this affects the care I give—your pets will always have my full attention, energy, and dedication. Whether your pet is furry, feathered, or scaly, you can trust they’ll be safe, loved, and well looked after while you’re away. I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy in your absence.

Safety, trust & environment
I have two beloved French Bulldogs of my own, and I treat them like my children. They enjoy a safe, fenced garden where they can play and roam freely, and I’ll offer the same level of love and care to your pets. You can rest assured that your furry companions will be treated like family and receive the attention, affection, and comfort they deserve while in my care.
Ratings and reviews
Carrie-Anne is absolutely fantastic, she took amazing care of Lucifer. She sent lots of update and photos and left my house very clean and tidy. She very friendly and professional. I will be booking her again when I need a sitter.

Amazing sitter and lovely woman to talk to

I’m so glad I found Carrie on Rover. From our very first message, she was warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting to know Rolo. She asked thoughtful questions about her routine, quirks, and favorite things, which already made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her in Carrie’s care. When she came for the drop-in, she arrived right on time and greeted Rolo like they’d been friends forever. She didn’t just pop in and out — she really took the time to play with her, give belly rubs, refresh her food and water, and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The best part was the updates. She sent me the sweetest photos and little notes about what Rolo was up to — which toys she played with, how many treats she got, and even a few funny moments. You could tell she was paying attention and actually enjoying her time with her. When I got home, Rolo was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. That kind of peace of mind is priceless. Carrie didn’t just “do the job” — she treated Rolo like her own, and that means everything to me. I’ll definitely be booking her again, and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares.

With a heavy heart, I have to leave this review. This is in the interest of the animals which is most important. And if I was a owner, I would like to know who I am hiring. The sitter has not updated her profile as I asked her to be transparent with owners, about her need for a mobility scooter and lack of experience with CAT's and knowledge of animal behavior, so I am left with no choice but to leave a public review. I had to ask this sitter to terminate the job second sit, as I didn't feel my pets were going to be safe for 4 full days. NAMELY , I forgot something in the house , and when I returned, I heard this sitter slag me off, in a loud tone across the garden outside. So it means they have two faces. This is not good at all. Ever so nice and friendly in the face, but not so much behind the back. I thought to myself ok it's too late to cancel now, let me see how she is with the cats. But from the body language, I saw, she was very comfortable in the garden chair, more interested looking at her phone screen, than dealing with my cats. Teddy was just on the grass alone , partially being looked after by the companion she had along. I was really disappointed and I grew anxious. Which is not fair at all on the owner before they leave for days. Then things declined even further. Two meet and greets in my presence, the women moved by foot. But when I had left she came with a mobility scooter. This was absolute shocking. And she was not transparent with me about this. I did see in my presence she was struggling to stand and would lean against the wall or just sit down Second sit, She told me my senior cat was hiding in the Hedges and then it became clear, he was being spooked by something. I was then sent a video of Teddy eating two bites only and was told . He has eaten. (FALLS Reporting by the sitter that can kill an animal within days). Then I knew, he had probably not eaten previous evening either , when I left them. The sitter told me 20 min later, when I demanded to know why Teddy kept running away from her front front the neighbor's house. Who saw her on the mobility scooter, pointing for her companion, towards the neighbors window. Neighbors said, they were shocked. I had to then ask them to terminate the contract. As it was becoming very clear, she was not honest about the situation. TWO PEOPLE ATTENDED SIT, and I agreed to it and Sam, seemed nice, but still raises slight concerns for the following reasons (not knowing these people and the loud slagging I heard from main sitter in the garden): When I returned 3 days later ( 3 days, after contract termination) , my other female cat was acting poorly , so I took her to do full blood tests. Contract was terminated days before ON negative terms with a full refund, but due to the red flags prior and I had to pay new people. Any owner would would feel concerned, as the area is FAR FROM prime location. So further urine tests are being done currently. Not driving, MOBILITY SCOOTER and LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. For me breakfast, lunch and late evening visits were crucial and someone to be able to come back and forth was good enough, as cats relax between FULL/GIVEN/EATEN meals. BUT, back and forth, quick drop ins were not possible, as she didn't drive. And she had to be stationary or travel one hour each way. I was ideally looking for someone to come in 3 times a day, feed the cats and check if everything was under control. But, as she was new on ROVER and building her profile, she had given a "A discount" due "TO NOT BEING A DRIVER" and catching the BUS to the sit (1 hour away) and me being on a budget, so we reached a friendly agreement, and was fine to do the DAY SIT, instead of night sits (22:00-09:00 Normally). For the price of TWO short visits. Normally drop in visits are 9-10 pounds on Rover. For 30 minutes. Or nights start from 35. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY and Experience which needs to be stated on profile and even lack of interest for SENIOR cats in my honest opinion. RECAP. TEDDY ate two bites, and this sitter reported it as "HE ATE". (All is normal) I had to tell them, it's NOT NORMAL, and what to do, and to get TEDDY or they would have left it. Not a good way to travel for any owner. Stress.

Carrie was amazing with the dogs whilst we were away, she was updating up regularly with texts and images. Carrie really put our minds at ease and reassured us. Carrie was amazing with maintaining the household as well, she cleaned up after the dogs. We will definitely be using Carrie again.
