I have always had dogs from a child and changed careers from teaching to working with dogs. I am a qualified dog trainer currently working part time for a charity training assistance dogs, I also work self employed dog walking and pet sitting. Having completed training courses with IMDT ( Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and DTC I am up to date with modern dog training methods, dog law, canine first aid and aim to deliver a professional and high quality service when looking after dogs. You will find me competent, reliable and trustworthy, be assured I will look after your pet as I would my own. My clients are always happy with the level of service I provide, often going above and beyond to make sure your pet has everything they need.

Carrie looked after our lively and nervous Vizsla while we were away for a few days. It was the first time we had left him overnight. Carrie took very good care of him and of our house while we were away. Everything went smoothly and Carrie kept us informed with photos to keep our minds at rest. We would highly recommend Carrie for housesitting and dog walking.

Schedule
I am currently working part time so I am able to fit dog care into my daily schedule, without a disruption to their needs and have plenty of time to spend taking care of them.

I can care for dogs in their own home, making sure to follow your instructions on your pets' requirements. Respecting your home and being responsible for your pets' safety.
A typical day
I'll take your dog/s to nearby parks, woods or beach to go on nice long walks, I'll play fetch with their favourite balls or sticks if they prefer. I'll make sure they have plenty of sniffing time, enrichment and stimulation so that they are nice and tired by the time they get home. I'll dry them off if it's raining so they won't bring mud back into your home!

- I'll need to know how your dog is with other dogs or if they have any special requirements. Are they ok being off lead? Do they have any triggers, things they aren't comfortable with?Is there anything you'd like me to work on with them ie, loose lead walking or recall. Do they have any dietary restrictions or allergies? If they are rescue dogs it would be useful for me to know their background too. Are there any ailments I need to consider when they are walking? I usually like to run through these things on a first meeting so I know the best way I can care for your pets.
