Loving & Safe Home for your Pups!
My name is Carolyn and I'm an outpatient psychotherapist, massage therapist, and mom to 14-year-old twins and Pumpkin, our 7 year old Shi-poo! I do telehealth from home during the week and I'd love to lend a hand to anyone who is looking for a safe and loving home to host their precious dog-children. I am located in Dorchester Lower mills area and our home is spacious with a sizable fenced in yard. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their sweet and quirky personalities. They have such generous spirits and their presence brings such a loving energy that we as humans are so lucky to be able to enjoy that with them. Pumpkin and I are very active and we love to run around the house, play tug-of-war with toys, play fetch outside in the yard, and go for walks around the neighborhood or at one of the many surrounding parks or Blue Hills Reservation. We also love to get tuckered out and then chill on the couch or bed to recharge! If you think your dog would like to join in on the fun with us then we'd love to be of service. My children are at school from 7am-3pm during the week but would be interacting with any guest-dogs during overnight visits or on the weekends, so during those times, we can only take dogs here that are comfortable around kids. Both of my kids absolutely LOVE animals and are very helpful, responsible, and protective with our dog, taking her out for potty breaks, playing with her or giving her belly rubs, and refreshing her water/food. Carolyn was great like always! It’s been a couple years since the last time my dog has been with Carolyn and she was still the best and so accommodating for him.
We love having Carolyn watch our pup during the week. She is thoughtful, easygoing, flexible, and very responsive. Her pup Pumpkin is super sweet and gets along great with other dogs. We’re really lucky we found her and would recommend her to anyone. 💖🩷
Reliable and trustworthy!
Carolyn took wonderful care of our 9 lb dog when we were away for two weeks! We were reluctant to leave N. with someone new, but had no choice. From everything we can tell - from photos she sent, and our dog when we returned - she got great care. We would definitely use Carolyn again!

Schedule
I work part time from home so I am available each day during the week to be present with your pet, go for walks, and care for their needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and my house is spacious for pups to roam around and play. My dog pumpkin serves as a fun playmate and dogs are welcome to make themselves at home on couches or on our bed. We can play fetch either inside the house or in the yard. Food and water will have its special place in the kitchen and dogs will only be left alone for a few hours max.

A typical day
We can go for walks around my neighborhood which is very low-traffic and atop a hill, or there are several nearby parks as well. The healthy trail in neponset is close-by and I run and walk there all the time. Blue hills hiking is also a favorite of mine and my dog Pumpkin.
