I’ve always loved being around dogs and have lots of personal experience with them! I grew up with my own dog, so looking after pets has always felt natural to me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with special needs (ex. providing medication) both in their own homes and in mine, and I make sure to follow their routines closely. I’m very active and love keeping dogs moving with walks, playtime, and lots of attention. For the past two years, I’ve also volunteered at the Burlington Humane Society, working with dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Carolyn has cared for both my cat (10 y old) and senior dog. She is attentive, responsible, and genuinely loves animals. You can see how comfortable pets feel around her right away. She takes the time to understand their routines and personality. She communicates clearly with updates, which gives great peace of mind while you’re away. Carolyn is not only reliable and professional, but also a truly kind and thoughtful person. I easily trust her with my pets.
Carolyn provided excellent care for our two Great Danes and two cats while we were out of the country. She is great at communicating (before, during, and after our vacation) and always kept us informed of how our pets were doing, including sending us photo updates each day without us having to ask. She also took exceptional care of our home and left it in perfect condition - my mother (who has quite high standards!) messaged me to comment on how clean and tidy our house looked when she came to take over pet setting duties. Carolyn was also wonderful at communicating with my mother about the handoff. One of our Danes has specific medical needs that require a lot of attention and Carolyn was very thorough with making sure their needs were met. She went above and beyond with unexpected issues that came up. For example, when one of our dogs had an accident on the couch, she kindly took off the covers and washed them when I hadn't even shown her how to use our laundry facilities, then promptly informed us of what had happened. It can be really difficult for us to find pet care for such large dogs with someone we trust, and we were more than happy with Carolyn's care for them. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter and would not hesitate to ask her to look after our pets and home again.
Carolyn has come to my home to take care of my 2 cats and 2 dogs many times. She takes great care of my furry babies and they love having her. She is highly trustworthy, responsible and communicative which helps my peace of mind when I am traveling. My cats are fussy eaters that only want wet food, so it is important that they get fresh food regularly throughout the day. My dogs are about 100lbs each and independent minded Maremmas. Carolyn manages them with no problems. I can also trust that my home is safe with Carolyn. I would highly recommend having Carolyn take care of your furry babies.

Schedule
Making time for pets is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize, not something I have to squeeze in. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins so pets get consistent care and attention. I’m active throughout the day, which makes it easy to include walks and exercise for dogs, and I’m flexible enough to adjust routines based on each pet’s needs—whether that’s extra activity, quiet time, or special care.

I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, whether they’re in my home or their own. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of fresh water, exercise, playtime, and attention, and feel safe and comfortable at all times. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow any specific instructions they provide. In my own home, I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at ease. I always keep owners updated with lots of photos so they feel confident their pet is well cared for.
