I have a dog who was abused so I’ve seen first hand the trauma that physical and emotional abuse to do a dog. It is of utmost importance to me that the animals feel safe around me. I can be stern, and even tap their butts to get them going, but never would I hurt them. I love talking with animals and learning how they communicate.

A typical day
I truly enjoy cuddling with animals and reading. I love taking walks with dogs and if there’s an appropriate space I love playing fetch. Honestly I’ll play whatever the pets favorite game is, it’s for their enrichment.

My schnauzer is my best friend of 13 years. We also have had a previously abused dog for 4 years, who still suffers major anxiety and is afraid of men. I am also caring for my sisters golden doodle while she has a newborn at home. I also have a cat whom I adore, she is sassy and playful.

Carolyn was great! I am definitely a helicopter dog mom and I felt very safe and secure knowing that she was watching my dog. During our meet and greet, He was a little shy at first, and she was super patient and loving with him. She sent me pictures and updates constantly. I truly appreciate her and she is amazing!

Carolyn did such an amazing job housesitting. I had to book last minute due to an emergency and she was at my place within an hour. My apartment looked just as it was when I left it, and Carolyn followed instructions perfectly. She was very communicative and very thoughtful with my anxious dog. I am so glad to have found her in such a pinch and will definitely be booking with her again!
