I have been a dog-sitter and cat-sitter in the past to friends and miss the experience. With no pets of my own, I look forward to caring for yours! I understand the responsibility and trust that is involved in any sitting relationship. In addition to basic care of feeding, watering, and grooming, I especially enjoy playing and cuddling with a dog or cat. I am very respectful of their space, however, and let them come to me on their terms. If your pet is shy, I can be patient and if yours is a loner, I can also make sure that they get their space. I have previously volunteered as a dog walker for Leader Dogs for the Blind, so my approach to discipline is to ignore bad behavior and reward good behavior with attention. I find that by remaining calm, dogs are more apt to calm down as well. I am experienced at giving animals medication, including insulin injections for both dogs and cats. I obey instructions on diet and care. I regularly clean litter boxes and also enjoy taking dogs for a walk. While I am not experienced in caring for other animals, I am happy to learn if you have a rabbit or other animal that requires care.

I enjoy caring for animals and am always mindful of potential hazards. I have experience caring for dogs dealing with separation anxiety and also managing conditions like diabetes. I ensure that pets are given ample attention and exercise while in my care and love playing or cuddling your pet.

Schedule
I work remotely most days, which allows me to be present for your pets in your home. On Tuesdays-Thursdays I may need to be in the office part of the day, and we can discuss any accomodations needed for your pets. Your pets well being is always my priority.
