Trusted Nanny for your Fur Babies!
My lifelong, hands-on experience caring for animals of many kinds. I bred our family poodle, assisted during the birth of her puppies, helped raise them, and placed them in loving homes with family friends. Over the years, I’ve cared for guinea pigs, fish, sugar gliders, cats, and dogs of many breeds and sizes. I’ve even rescued baby birds and provided around-the-clock care until they were healthy enough to be released back into the wild. I’ve also helped several family members teach their dogs important skills, including potty training and coming when called. I had a dog by my side for most of my life until my beloved fur baby recently passed away. While I’m not ready to adopt another pet, I would love to responsibly fill that space in my heart by providing dependable, attentive, and loving care to other people’s pets.

I can’t think of anyone I would trust more with my pets than my mom! Growing up, our house was basically a little zoo! All together, we had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, hermit crabs, and even a sugar glider. She somehow always made sure every single one was happy, healthy, loved, and well cared for. My mom has always been incredibly attentive and loving with animals. She treats pets like family and genuinely enjoys getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and quirks. Whether it was making sure our dogs got plenty of exercise (extra special golfcart rides where they got to run along side us), giving our cats all the attention they demanded, or caring for our smaller and more unique pets, she was always patient, responsible, and dependable. Now that I’m in my 30's, I can look back and realize just how much care and effort she put into all of our animals. I know that any pet in her care will be spoiled with love, attention, and excellent care. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their fur babies!
Carrie is truly amazing and I highly recommend her! She is dependable, caring, attentive, and treats my pets (a mini horse, goat, 2 dogs, and a cat) as if they were her own. She goes above and beyond and its obvious how much she genuinely loves animals. She gives me peace of mind knowing that my babies are happy, safe, and well cared for while I'm away.

Carrie is an animal lover thru and thru; she is very personable with humans as well. She has cared for and loved our dogs and cat for years. Schedule
I currently work at my part-time job two days a week. Outside of that schedule, I’m very flexible and can easily adjust my availability to meet each pet parent’s needs. I’m always happy to have a conversation about your pet's specific routine and schedule so we can create a care plan that works well for everyone.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently have any pets in my home, which means your pet will be my priority and receive plenty of individual attention. Although I do not have a fenced-in backyard, dogs will receive multiple leashed walks throughout the day, and there is also have a dog park in my neighborhood that can be used with your permission. For cats, I can provide litter boxes and a peaceful environment where they can settle in comfortably. My home is clean, organized, and pet-proofed. I do not have children in the home, and potentially unsafe items are kept neatly put away. Pets are welcome on my furniture because I believe they are family—while they’re staying with me, my home is their home.
A typical day
A typical day will include plenty of love, playtime, and attention while keeping your pet’s usual routine! For dogs, we’ll enjoy walks with lots of time to sniff and explore, favorite toys, and games like fetch. For cats, I’ll offer interactive toys, gentle play, and cozy companionship on their terms. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers snuggling on the couch, I’ll tailor our day to their age, personality, and comfort level, with plenty of time for rest.

Please share any medical needs, medications, allergies, or dietary restrictions, along with how they do around other animals and people. It’s also helpful to know about separation anxiety, potty habits, escape tendencies, food or toy guarding, and any history of snapping or biting. Being open about their needs helps me plan for a safe, happy stay and give them the care they deserve!
